If you are looking for great food and not ambiance this is the place for you. Try the Ichaban chicken it has really great flavor. Orange chicken is a great choice also, doesn’t come out swimming like most places. A lot of choices and great serving sizes for the price

I ordered the daily special which was teriyaki chicken, rice, salad, and a can of soda for $ 6.99. The meal came to the table perhaps 90 seconds later. So yes, the service is fast — but it means the chicken is prepared in advance and not cooked to order. As a result the chicken was drier than you would expect, and was not really hot. This might apply to just the daily special, or all food may be similarly staged, I’ll know in time. That said, the taste of the chicken was very good. The salad was okay but the dressing seemed a lot like slightly favored mayonnaise. The rice was par for the course. I understand if a restaurant pre-cooks their daily special but cooked to order teriyaki is preferred.

This is the only Teriyaki restaurant my husband and I eat at! We drive over from Kirkland at least once a week for dinner. The staff is wonderful and the gyozas are the best I’ve ever had! Service is always very fast and they nail the food every time! Love love LOVE this place!

Near Bella Bottega theatre, down road from my job hungry because didn’t get lunch. Stopped by because didn’t want American fast food. Got spicy garlic chicken instead and totally worth it. Everything was acceptable. Again lacking sustained heat but would definitely get again

Not my favorite teriyaki in Redmond(and certainly not the cheapest). The spicy chicken breast was flat and had kind of a chemical taste to it which threw me off of bit. My lunch came with salad(ginger dressing) and rice. While there was a lot of chicken, due to the strange taste I didn’t eat most of it. However, the gyoza however were really good! But truth be told — it can be hard to mess those up. The place is small and when you’re sitting at the tables near the restrooms, the smell of the restrooms permeates the tables — not in a dirty bathroom way but just in a general bathroom smell sort of way. The gal working the counter was pleasant and it took between 5 and 10 minutes for me to get my food which I didn’t think was too long to wait. My spicy chicken and gyoza ran me about $ 18(with tip) which is a tad on the expensive side.

I would give this place 4.5 stars but that is not an option. So I think this is one of the best Teriyaki places in my area. They even do late evening delivery. I like the yakisoba here. Their teriyaki is pretty good, gyoza nice and tasty. I love how many of their dishes do not skimp on the spice. There are options for everyone as some of the dishes are less spicy. Their curry is really tasty and kastsu very nice. This is definitely fast food type place. Their kalbi short rib is ok but I actually have another place I prefer. I like that they do not never sweeten their food and it is less oily than some I have had,.

Really want to be a fan of this spot being that the manager(owner?) is really likable but we were really disappointed. Ordered no rice and extra veggies but got extra sweaty brown salad and thick mayonnaise sauce… No veggie option. Really dry over cooked unseasoned chicken and tiny fatty beef bits. Boo!

Stopped in for lunch one day and had the shrimp teriyaki. Very tasty. Still not sure what Northwest-style«teriyaki» is, but I guess I’m learning.

The family running this business was so friendly and accommodating. Genuinely happy people running a wonderful restaurant. There was a huge selection to choose from. Everything from Katsu burgers to spicy garlic teriyaki to all of your regular teriyaki dishes. Saturday special was great! Free can of soda and 3 free gyoza with all dine in meals.

Very friendly service! Food was fantastic! They were doing a promo for a free can of soda and three pieces of Gyoza with a purchase of a meal. I was impressed by the level of customer service. I will be back for sure!

I live a few blocks from this place and have been eating here for years; my only stop for teriyaki in Redmond. My favorites are the Mongolian Beef(a little spicy, so delicious) and the chicken teriyaki. Service is very friendly and fast. Unlike other places that have their food steeping in oil for hours, the food here is made to order. Plus the portions are huge and the price is cheap.

A generic and generally cheap teriyaki restaurant located in a strip mall in Redmond. It doesn’t get much less exciting than that. The quality is not quite there yet, but the portions should be enough to keep you filled. That’s the reason for the positive review. Almost everything is under ten dollars, and they actually serve you a substantial amount of food. I ordered a Chicken & California Roll($ 8.59), and it came to my table within three minutes. I saw them actually make it in the kitchen, too; this wasn’t one of those microwave tricks. I hope they stay in business because I would come back again.

I took out chicken curry last night for dinner. The curry was very watery and the flavor was bland. Shriracha saved the night on this order. perhaps next time I should try and update this review on a spicy teriyaki order? Telling by the quality of chicken curry, I can’t expect good things to come from this restaurant. There were chicken bits cut up form their teriyaki inventory(which makes total economic sense) But chicken cubes? I have never seen curry like this before. I don’t cook and I had made better chicken curry form a box? It was rather disappointing. The atmosphere of the place is a bit grungy and cold and the service was not very customer oriented. This was a true Meh experience and deserved 2 stars. When I am in the area again, perhaps I would try a teriyaki dish and update this.

Granted this is conveniently next to work and the owner occasionally drops it by our office, I can’t say this place is terrible. It does what it needs to when I’m hungry and forgot my lunch. Compared to the restaurant next door, it is always busy during lunchtime, so people must like it. To me, it’s simple, but my only qualm about it is that the chicken or beef teriyaki doesn’t come with vegetables. It’s a little disappointing when you just see rice and grilled meat. It’s not too appetizing. For the charge(assuming you don’t get special discounts), it should have at least vegetables one the side.
