So I don’t think Ill returning.
I was treated like a criminal by a older lady in the front.
I needed to return an item i had bought a few days earlier… it being the holidays i misplaced my receipt and she rudely tells me she’ll return it for store credit, adding that its not for alcohol or tobacco.

Bathrooms are a freaking disaster! I felt like I needed to be scrubbed down with antiseptic after using. For this alone I give them a low grade. I wonder how clean the rest of the story is you know what I mean?

So we used the self-​check as we regularly do and my husband asked the clerk who was obviously sick to do a quantity since we had 10 of the same item. She refused said she couldn’t as it wasn’t available. Hello! We have shopped with Safeway for years and they always do it. When he told her this, she said no and walked away. I said it’s a good thing, maybe we won’t get sick from her. She then went on to tell another clerk she takes nighttime cold medicine during the day since she has ADD and it does’t affect her. Seriously, this is the worse service I have yet to receive at Safeway.

one those grocery stores that safeway remodeled so it has that homey feel with some wood floors, soft lighting, and open aisles. their bakery is decent and the meat department seems to be on the ball. also a very clean store everytime i’ve gone in there. –1 for not having gingerbread cookie mix when i wanted to make some good old fashioned gingerbread men.
