I wouldn’t go as far as to say this is a gastropub, but I liked the beer selection, sriracha shrimp, pretzel bun burger, and good fries. Portions were on the larger side. I would recommend this place to someone looking for a casual resto-bar in Redmond.

So just getting caught up on these while at the airport. I am traveling lots for work so just always look for a good burger. The best is actually at MSFT cafeteria anyway — went here with coworkers after a team meeting and had a great time and just a fun easy going non pretentious place. Service was friendly but slow — food above average but what we expected. I heard it is a great place to watch sports. Nothing was on when we were there but I can see that.

I see that a few reviewers are saying«not great» «typical bar food» and I would beg to differ. I’ve eaten many a meal out at all levels of eatery and I truly feel the food here is far superior to most bars. The menu is varied, and I’ve not had any disappointing food here. I’ve had many an excellent filet in there as well as excellent burgers, salads, fish & chips, gyros, desserts and more. Also, check out their fresh sheet — their food folks like to come up with new stuff and those are always good, too. The bartenders are very good at what they do and while nobody is perfect, they want a chance to make things right if you aren’t happy. Give ‘em a whirl, if you like good food, a nice variety of options and a fun, casual environment.

Pro’s — Great place to watch Football on Sundays — Friendly staff — Kitchen is open late(+ late night happy hour 9 pm — 12 am Sunday — Thursday) — appetizers well priced for portion size Con’s — Food is average sports bar food — No centralized(large TV) showing prime time game — atmosphere on non game days I do like this place, but if you are Unilocaling for«restaurants» you’re probably interested in better food. If you want to watch a game or grab an appetizer + drink late night then I would recommend!

I love this place. Not only is the atmosphere is chill and friendly, but the wait staff is awesome! seriously, every time I go in there, they put a smile on my face! Also, I have gone in there and asked them to turn one of their TVs to particular sporting events(Tennis) and they do. super friendly and accommodating. And, the Bomber burger is hands down the best burger on the eastside. Love their garlic fries too. OH! and they have gluten free bread for their sandwiches and burgers!!!

I wouldn’t eat here when other places are open, but this place is open way later than anything else in the area, and the food is good for a bar. If you get the late-night happy hour specials, avoid the quesadillas(which are anemic), and try the nachos(which are enough to feed two or three people). The burgers aren’t bad, either, but you don’t get a discount on those.

Definately my go to spot for always amazing food and drinks in Redmond! Never have been disappointed. Everything is great about this place — food(especially the turkey club), drinks, staff, ambiance! Definitely will keep going back and highly recommended !!

Came here for the first time and thought the food was just okay. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t amazing wither. Ordered the fish tacos and the French dip. Flavors were a bit bland for my taste. Our waiter was super friendly and the service was great, but there were only two tables filled at that time so wasn’t too busy. They have a great bar and the place is nicely decorated.

My husband and I have been here a couple times with no complaints. Last week we stopped in for a late night snack and we won’t be returning. I know it was the end of the night but the cook obviously microwaved our food. The spinach dip we didn’t even eat because it was just the worst. The chicken quesadilla was microwaved served to us, I could have made a better one in my own microwave. The bartender was great(the only reason i’m giving 2 stars) she took the dip off our bill, and probably would have taken off the quesadilla but we didn’t even mention it because we were just over it.

Not bad for Redmond! Decently priced drinks & food with day time and late night happy hour. I wouldn’t say there’s anything amazing about RBG but it’s above average compared to a lot of other bars on the east side. It’s also within walking distance from other bars and restaurants in downtown Redmond which makes it a good spot to start bar hopping. Also a step up from Palmers which is right next door to RBG.

Who would have thought they have cool bars on the East Side? This place place is great — good selection of local beers on tap, great cocktails and surprisingly delicious food! The ahi tuna, burgers, French dip, fries and deserts are all really good. I haven’t tried the pastas yet.

Tried this place and it’s an ok restaurant. I like the sport bar feel and I’m sure this place might be great during football season. The drinks and food that I got were about average(in my opinion) and don’t see a reason for me to go back. I like the fact that take take Microsoft prime and have a free complimentary entrée. It’s open really late into the night and that’s when I visit this place– because I don’t have too many other options on the east side.

6 of us rolled in to grab brunch after a 5k out at Marymoor, and I can’t say enough about the service here. To be blunt, we are a demanding bunch. One of us it gluten intolerant, another has Celiac’s, one is completely dairy free, and the rest of us have tons of questions. Kelly was super sweet, incredibly professional, and found something for everyone at the table to eat. Food was delicious, drinks came out quickly, and everyone left happy. Kelly, you are a rockstar. Thank you for being so accommodating for us, and for keeping your patience. We appreciated it.

A staple of Redmond, this place suffers from the fact that it is surrounded by other above average places and doesn’t really excel. The Bar and Grill has a decent menu, good service and is at a good location. Parking is on the street and will require something of a walk if you are commuting there as there are only three — four spots in front of the bar that often are used by other businesses. The TVs on the wall will require you to turn your head to watch but it isn’t too much of an inconvenience. You may not bring pets inside unless they are service animals, so if you are out walking a dog and want to stop in for a coffee or a quick breakfast(their breakfast is quite good) you’ll need to take your pet home first. Their appetizers are also decently sized and in some cases can constitute a light meal on their own. They have live music several nights(but so does most places nearby — like the Matador). It’s simply a chill place to grab a meal. On a night when it is not crowded it could potentially even be romantic, but that isn’t often the case. Worth a visit, perhaps even a repeat, but compared to the surroundings it is a solid performer and nothing more.

I have stopped by here a couple of times now, first with a large group of work friends on a Friday night and then last night on a date during taco Tuesday/trivia night. Parking is always easy to find nearby on the street, staff is very personable, and I love the atmosphere. Just a word of caution, though, the pool table on the far left is lop-sided, I’d use the other one near the kitchen door. Drinks are good and prices are fairly decent. They have a late HH starting at 9pm, $ 1 off beers and cocktails and taco Tuesday goes until 10pm and I believe the chicken & carnitas tacos are $ 2 each, fish tacos $ 3 each. I got 3 carnitas tacos that came with guac on top and they were sooooo delicious. I also got a margarita on the rocks which was really good too. We weren’t a team for trivia night, but it was fun to try to figure out the questions as we sat & chat! Trivia starts at 8:30pm here so maybe next time we’ll get a team together. I love RBG and will be coming back again.

Probably one of only a handful of places like this in Redmond at this point. A bit of a sports bar vibe. The burger was done perfectly. Everything good, nothing bad, just nothing spectacular. If you live in Redmond I guess there aren’t that many other places to go– so 3 stars– otherwise this would be a 2 star shindig in the city.

Had the ahi tuna appetizer. It was delicious! The wasabi mayo was a touch powerful, but the tuna, the avocado, was good. Also had the chicken burger there. The pretzel bun that came with it was amazing! I still want some now… and its been a week! It made everything that much better! Plus the sweet potato fries, you just cant go wrong with that! The waitress was friendly, environment wasnt bad. Goood place to go! Lots of tv around, so can always go catch a seahawks game as well!

This place rocks. i had to quickly find a place to eat when the Redmond Inn neglected to tell me that their restaurant was closed(see review). They also didn’t offer any alternative(!) so Unilocal, here I come! I saw the word«pretzel bun» and I knew I had to come here! The food is great! I had a checken brie burger and it was DIVINE! I ended up taking it home as I was full. The avocado dip was greasy and flavorless(pass) but the french fries were great so who cares, right? I told my waitress Alissa that I had to pull an all-nighter and she hooked me up with an IV of coke. I’m serious, it was like the«Kennedy package» on HIMYM! And the place was busy, too. I have honestly not seen anything like that kind of service before! I also mentioned that I have issues wtih tiny amounts of ketchup and she hooked me up AGAIN! She really turned my night around with her charm, humor and terrific customer service! I will be back! Ask for Alissa ;)

I don’t normally gravitate towards«bar and grills», but I came here for a coworker’s going away party after a long, spontaneous hike the other day and was starving… So starving that I had my friend read me the menu in the car so we’d know what to order when we got there. lol. Parking wasn’t too bad for a friday night, space was vibrant, open and fun with pool tables and there was a good mix of people… I was pleasantly surprised! and… the food was really good! good job Redmond! My friend’s French dip was tender, juicy and the au jus accompanying it was amazing. The one thing I’d change would be the bread — it was too dense — French bread vs a hoagie roll would make it way better. I also enjoyed her parmesean fries better than my «truffle fries» which only had maybe a hint of truffle, if anything — I was kind of disappointed by that since I had heard rave reviews about it. The waiter said he’d get me another batch since mine was pretty bland, and then I found out I was charged extra for it. :(. But the Bomber burger I ordered was just that — the bomb — I am guessing, hence the name?! :). Egg, bacon, tomato, lettuce, etc. on a juicy patty… I don’t think it can get much better. Definitely within the top 2 burgers I’ve had in the city so far.

This was my first time to Redmond Bar and Grill. The outside of the bar is rather deceiving. At first glance you would assume that the bar was small, but when you walk in it is actually quite big. There are plenty of tables and bar seats. When my friends and I went, it was busy, but we were able to sit down right away. Once we sat down, we ordered drinks right away. We put in our food order and the food took an extremely long time to come out. However, the food tasted very good so we didn’t mind the wait. I ordered the French Prime Dip, which was amazing. The roast beef ripped apart easily and the house made au jus was delicious. Service was mediocre. Our server was very nice, but she was so busy running around that we hardly ever saw her. My table didn’t need anything until the end, so we didn’t mind her being absent.
