Overlake Medical Clinic

The lab is in complete chaos at this medical clinic. The lab collects samples from multiple patients at the same time without any patient labels. Repeatedly the lab work orders are missing in their systems. The nurse would indicate lab has been ordered but lab technicians never find the orders. The lab technicians don’t verify patient name or date of birth or any information before verifying they are collecting samples from the right patient.

My family has been going here over a year. My husband and I see Dr Habib and our child is a patient of Dr. Krisman. I am in there at least once a month due to multiple health issues. Dr Habib has never once made me feel that she was rushed. She listens and I believe honestly cares about her patients. One night even calling me to make sure I was ok. The staff is always friendly, nice and professional. I love being able to access my records online. We have only seen dr. Krisman a couple times but in those times he spoke to our child explaining things so it could be understood in layman terms. I am happier at this office than I have ever been at any other dr office.

–Long wait times, doctor unintentionally gave me false information.
They were able to see me on my lunch break when I didn’t have a regular doctor in the area. I waited for two hours to be seen, there were only three other people in the waiting room when I arrived. The female doctor (don’t remember her name) I saw gave me false information about the viral culture test they ran, told me results are typically back within about two days. When I called later after not hearing back, the woman in the office was very apologetic and told me that they actually take 7 – 14 days to receive results. My symptoms cleared up within a few days of my visit, the culture test was totally useless to me and I would have opted out of spending the extra lab money if I’d known that it wouldn’t be back in time to benefit me anyway. Currently waiting to see if I get a lab bill.

I have actually been here a couple of times. The last time I was here which was just last week, I had serious throat issues, I could hardly talk, swallow, or breathe. The doctor, who I think didn’t really give a dime, prescribed lidocaine gel — TO NUMB MY THROAT. Since I of course didn’t have strep, there was nothing he could give me so I could get better. «I will send in your swab to be cultured and you will hear from us in a couple of days». It has been a week, I have not heard back and my coughing is as worse as ever.
The stars are because the staff is really nice.

I’ve only been here once, and it was for strep throat. The staff was fine. The PA who saw me was fine. I was given a prescription for antibiotics and told they would bill me for the $ 25 co-​pay.
That was back around 2.Dec.2013. Today as I write this review it is 22.July.2014 – over 7 months later. Why the sudden urge to write a review and make it only two stars?
Because their office staff can not apparently figure out how to send out bills on a timely basis!
Today my girlfriend and I both received letters from a collection agency for overdue co-​pays for office visits last year (she took her son there also in December). We live at the same address and have lived here for a year and a half. We have never received any bills from Overlake, and now we have a collection agency – who certainly had no problem successfully sending these new bills to us at this same address – informing us we both need to pay our original co-​pays plus interest.
We called the collection agency, informed them of the lack of timely billing, and paid the original co-​pay charges while they waived the interest charges (which were less than a dollar each, but it’s the principle, dammit!). We were told that there was no impact on our credit histories at this point and would not be since we have paid with the first notice.
However, let me just say to you if you plan to go to this clinic: Bring your cash/​check/​credit card and pay your co-​pay there on the spot!
Fortunately there are other urgent care centers, like Swedish, in the area. We won’t be coming back here again, as we prefer to be billed on time, not get nasty collection notices, and keep our credit intact.

I needed a new Primary Physician. The one I had was okay, but every appointment seemed to be running behind and rushed.
I did some research and decided to try someone near my work. I chose Dr. Kriseman, DO. Let me tell you, he’s pretty awesome. He’s like talking to a good friend. Knows his stuff. Seems like you are spending more time talking to the doctor than the norm. I don’t typically write reviews about Doctors, but thought he deserved one.
The office itself is new, clean and never really that busy. I’ve dropped in on at least 3 occasions and got in within 15 minutes.

After a bad experience with Overlake Urgent Care, I should have known better than to accept a referral to another Overlake clinic. The doctor was very nice but didn’t seem to know what to do with my symptoms and did not act like he was taking me seriously. I went in for a follow up after going to urgent care with severe chest pain. The pain was so bad that I was holding back tears in the doctor’s office… and his «treatment» was for me to get a massage. Seriously. I figured I’d do just about anything to take the pain away so I agreed to try it. Turns out the therapist, although he works in the clinic, does not actually work for Overlake. I told the therapist I’d like to make an appointment for the following day. But he told me he couldn’t put me on his own schedule, I had to call a 1 – 800 number of a company in Texas. I called the number and had to spend 20 minutes on the phone giving the exact information that the doctor had just given to the therapist one hour before, only to find out that they don’t accept my insurance (which Overlake accepts, by the way) and it would cost me $ 300. For a massage. No thanks.
Overlake clinics are so far 0 for 2 in my book. Luckily I was referred to an excellent doctor at Eastside Family Medicine Clinic who actually took the time to make a proper diagnosis and offer me treatment options.

I really appreciate the care my husband received at this clinic today. Dr. Kriseman was friendly, knowledgable, patient and thorough. The whole staff was outstanding and the clinic itself is quite nice. They took really good care of him when he was really suffering. Thank You!

I was quite disappointed with this clinic. Dr. Habib was not personable and did not seem like she wanted to be there. I would rather drive further and search more for a doctor who is welcoming and cares, especially when it comes to my health.

Loved the clinic!!, staff very friendly, got an appoitment right away. Once I got there the process was very easy, roomed me in right away… great Dr.
Highly recommended. Plus you can sneak in some shopping afterwards since is in a very convenient location at the Redmond Town Center… always a plus in my book.
