Pretty cool to visit if your a big nintendo fan. Its also close to the microsoft campus so if your going to visit the ms visitor center then definitely drop by here as well.
Pretty much all you’ll see here is a pretty cool nintendo sign you could take a pic with. during business hours you can probably go inside the lobby and snap some pics but thats really it. (since they dont offer public tours)
Overall if you grew up loving nintendo this place brings back a lot of nostalgia.

Great games and great products. My very first video game was Spider Man Mysterio’s Menace on the GBA (Nintendo).

Tried to trouble shoot my Nintendo 3DS-​XL not able to connect to my home’s router. The gentleman on the phone was very kind and knowledgeable about the set-​up but we just weren’t able to get around the issue why it wouldn’t connect, and yet my nintendo Wii (not a wii-​U) could connect wirelessly with no problem. My XL didn’t come with an AC-​Adapter and the set-​up died at the end of the phone call. We’re thinking we may have been entering in the password correctly but for TKIP setting instead of WPA2 settings. ugh. So i’ll have to try again on monday when I get the actual AC unit. I’ve loved this company since the 1980s.

Nintendo was awesome! Unfortunately it is closed to the public, but I had an inside connection so I was able to get the full tour. The receptionist helped my friend & I make our visitor badges fun with silly job titles… he was Galactic Commander and I was Professor Peach.
We got a personalized tour. The building was awesome, and all of the employees we met were very friendly! I had a great time visiting Nintendo of America… so if you have a connection who works there and get the chance to visit, I highly recommend it.

I just went on an amazing tour of this place with my friend. They’ve got a lot of cool things to see and I love this building. Beautiful campus for the employees. I love it here!

The office is pretty fun too, I was working there as a temp so i got a tour but if they aren’t giving out tours to guest I hope that changes soon.

A WARNING: If you’re looking for the headquarters, don’t use Unilocal’s map on their mobile app. The address is right, but the place where it puts down the pin is very, very wrong. Use a separate map application, such as Google’s.
This is a review only for standing in front of the building and taking a picture in front of the sign. If I were reviewing the company itself, this review would be ⁴⁄₅. I give it five stars because Nintendo was a ubiquitous part of my childhood; Mario was practically an uncle to me. Other classic franchises like Star Fox, F-​Zero, and Metroid were huge parts of my childhood as well (Nintendo loses a point, though, for their insistance with the 3DS and Wii U to hype up old virtual console games as if they’re new releases and trying to coast on nostalgia, rather than being truly innovative with their existing intellectual properties and developing interesting new ones – anyone who knows me knows I can rant on this for hours if allowed).
Even though by the time I was old enough to play video games the N64 was just being released, I started on the classic NES (which my parents received for free from a family friend, with a ton of games). My first love was Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. I grew to love it. By the next Christmas my parents upgraded me to the 64 bit system, and I was hooked. Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, and Goldeneye are still some of my favorite games to this day (despite my having more modern gaming systems, these are unimpeachable classics).
Therefore, when I knew I’d be taking a trip to Seattle, I knew I wanted to see this building – it was like a pilgrimage to me. I was aware that the building wasn’t exactly a tourist destination and that there was little to do, but my resolve was strong.
I turned up after hours, got my picture in front of the sign and left. Despite my frustration in finding the building, my mood lightened when I saw the sign. It was exactly what you would expect in a trip to a boring old office building, but it was nonetheless completely worth it. I wouldn’t say it was «fun» but it was certainly necessary.
If you’re in Seattle and have time to kill, take the pilgrimage. You have nothing to lose.

I didn’t realize Nintendo of America is on Unilocal!Of course I got to review them! They make some durable hardware especially the original gameboys. I suggest you find a Streetpass for your 3DS in your city. The ones I go to is Streetpass San Diego and sometimes Streetpass Orange County. Thanks for making our childhoods awesome Nintendo.

Don’t bother visiting the headquarters. They don’t do tours any more. Considering the struggles of the company recently, you would think they would be more cordial towards fans visiting, but they were actually pretty rude.

Although we like some if their products, their customer service really sucks! They seem to hire non-​tech employees who know nothing about their consoles and accessories! They keep putting you on hold to try and find answers to the issue but come back empty handed! Really?! I’m really considering switching to a different console and selling my Wii U and all of the games I regrettably bought!

If you want a pic in front of the building then you are in luck. No gift shop. No visitor’s center. My son left very disappointed.

Just like the u. blows. Went over there thinking they had a visitor center or at least a brand store… Nada. Top it off lady in the front was one of those — «up yours with a smile» kind of people. She was like «There is absolutely nothing for you here… Unless you want to take pictures of the building from outside». I was kind of tripping out since we could see some huge displays in the back area of some of the Mario characters as well as a big cart from Mario kart. I guess its for the employees to recall their hey day… Oh well, that’s the last Nintendo will see of me or my money…

However the campus looked pretty cool. Not as crazy amazing as Google or Wieden+Kennedy or anything. However, there are some quirks here that make the place unique. Don’t wanna get into too much detail lest I risk being sued haha.
The retail store here is great though! Things were so cheap. And since you’ll need an employee to get in the building any way, that person can also give you their employee discount at checkout.
I got my Xmas shopping done early… I hope my nephews know who Mario and Yoshi are though.

I’ve very rarely ever had to deal with a company’s customer service line, but Nintendo’s has to be one of the most helpful ever. As both a customer myself and on behalf of customers at my job they’ve managed to deal with the issues I’ve had smoothly and quickly.
My 3DS wouldn’t connect my Club Nintendo account to my eShop account, despite having had the system for some time. At the same time I was also having an issue with an order I had placed on Club Nintendo (they sent me a different prize than what I had ordered), so I decided to try and kill two birds with one stone when I called Nintendo for some help.
The man I spoke with the first time easily remedied the issue with the Club Nintendo prize and told me that I could keep the prize they had sent me in error (a cool Mario terry cloth hand towel) and they would send me the Mario pencil case I had ordered ASAP. The issue regarding my 3DS, however, was something more complicated, and the offices that specialized in system tech issues had closed for the day. The man took my name and number, along with a brief summary of my issue, and told me they’d call me back the next day.
Nintendo stayed true to their word and called me back, and it turned out that I had somehow managed to choose the same user name on my Club Nintendo account as another customer, and my 3DS wouldn’t link my account to the eShop because it wouldn’t recognize my password. I made a slight adjustment to my user name and it instantly rectified the problem. The guy who called me this time even told me Club Nintendo would be sending surveys to my account so that way I could register the games I had downloaded to my 3DS but couldn’t get coins for, because I couldn’t connect my account to the system.
All in all, stellar service and helpful, professional, friendly staff. Plus, even when you’re put on hold, you get to listen to Zelda’s Lullaby from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time instead of some crappy elevator music. They even make being on hold an enjoyable experience. Thanks Nintendo.

The Customer Service Center, which moved from Redmond to the Kirkland Warehouse at 12 521 128^th Lane NE, is now closed. Not enough broken systems being brought in.
However you can get a fix pretty quickly by going through Nintendo Support on their website or call (800) 255‑3700 directly. You will mail it to Kirkland, they will fix it (no refurbs), and mail it back to you. They seem to turn it around pretty quickly (within a day or two plus ship time).
Sad that you can’t walk in anymore but still good service and a great company.

Move along… there’s nothing to see here. Was hoping that they’d have a visitor center for my kids to enjoy. They had one about a year ago but they decided to close it down because of low traffic. They’re missing out on a huge opportunity here. It wouldn’t hurt them at all to put something together or at least have a tour guide taking you around their building. We visited the Microsoft campus and the kids loved it. When I told them Nintendo was nearby they were really excited. Quite a bummer.

I have always known Nintendo as a great video game powerhouse. From the big gray and ugly Game Boy (which I still own) and the NES to the Wii and Nintendo DSi. It’s been interesting watching Nintendo grow and change and the American side of it all happens in Washington. From Super Mario to Pokemon, Nintendo has left its mark on the entertainment and pop world. I will always be a Sega fan, but Nintendo will also be great to me for its many fun games and consoles that it has released in the past two decades.

Nintendo is hidden in the woods of Redmond. Right near Microsoft. I can imagine what the xbox versus wii lunch conversations at the local Subway are like.
We came here as a joke to get a picture of the sign and check out the store. The store sadly, is a big disappointment. While you will be rewarded with cool plushes, mugs and some tshirts, the pickings are slim. You won’t find anything that will win you fan boy points with anyone. There aren’t any cool games or add ons to buy.
Though when Wii did first come out, I was able to get one due to some special magical jazz here. Which does make me warm and fuzzy for Nintendo again.
At least the kid appreciated the stuffed Mario doll.

The boyfriend and I are obsessed with the Wii I bought him for Christmas.
We’re well on our way to having «wii bodies» (out of shape everywhere with the exception of a really toned right arm and shoulder).
Super fun, I can’t wait to get the Wii fit!
