Well, I saw that they’ve been good about posting their location reliably for several months now so against my better judgment I decided to give them another try. It was bad. I ordered a lamb gyro with no onions and greek fries. Even gave them a 20% tip, which was a mistake as they seemed to have forgotten my order and served me after several people who ordered after I did. The gyro meat was OK, but the gyro was filled with grocery store bagged salad mix, including cabbage and stale lettuce. Gross. The pita was soggy and the fries were soggy with very little feta on them. I wonder if the owners know what’s going on. The first time they brought their food truck over here they used to work it themselves, now it’s 2 other guys and the menu is infinitely smaller and the quality is terrible.

First time trying this place. Food was awesome !! Best Gyro I had for sure. Not greasy at all. Ingredients were fresh. Greek fries were really good. Staff friendly which always a plus!

I got lunch from Mr. Gyro for the first time last Thursday at the Bellevue UW Medical Center lot on Northup Way. It reminded me of the Doner Kebap stands in Germany that I miss so much. I ordered the chicken gyro — the flatbread was soft and fresh, the meat was well-seasoned and the cucumber/tomato salad inside was great. The only thing it was missing was feta cheese, which you have to order extra(and next time I will). I hope it will be in the neighborhood again today!

Standard mediterranean fast food place, nothing special to report. The falafel sandwich is good, suitable for a single meal and comes to around $ 8(without fries or a drink). Makes for an occasional nice change from the regular MS cafes. Be sure to plan for a 15 minute wait if visiting between 12 — 12.30 pm and try to avoid going any later, as I’ve heard that the food sometimes runs out.

My staple lunch item is a Chicken Greek Salad. I have been going to their food truck since the summer of 2013 and one thing that is clear is what they deliver is inconsistent. One day you will have perfectly cooked gyro chicken, fresh salad, a nice portion size and the next day you will have dry chicken, wilted lettuce and a small portion. It is easier to swallow the not-so-fancy salad for $ 9 when done well but not when it is mediocre. A good company would have a reputation that their customers know what they are getting every time.

Thank goodness for Mr. Gyros. After a telecommuting stint for a couple years, I have been recalled back to the mothership at work in Redmond. The building that my office is located is a bit out of the way. It is a block or two to the closest cafeteria. However, it is close to two food truck locations which is how I encountered Mr. Gyros food truck which is an offshoot of the restaurants of the same name in Seattle. Found the yellow colored truck situated just across the street from my office. The menu offerings here is simple consisting primarily of gyros, salads and sides like Greek fries. I decide to order the lamb gyro($ 7) with Greek fries($ 2). The lamb gyro is a great option. The thinly sliced lamb is tender and delicious. The gyro is a sizable portion and sufficient for lunch. I did not need to order the Greek fries, but did so anyway to see how they tasted. The steak style fries seemed freshly cut(did not seem like the frozen variety) and topped with feta cheese. A good combination. They also had some sauces like a chili sauce if you want to add some more flavor to the fries and/or gyro. I am glad Mr. Gyros has a truck that serves Microsoft. Mediterranean food is something that is missing on campus. There are a few places that sell gyros nearby, but I feel the quality of the lamb gyro here gives me no reason to drive to one of those places. Just wish this truck was on campus nearby more than just once a week as my schedule doesn’t always align with the truck’s schedule.

I like Gyros. These are nothing fancy — just plain good gyros. I’m lucky in that they show up at my job about once or twice a week and when I see them I always try to visit. Lamb Gyro with extra meat and no onions hits the spot every time. My meal costs me about $ 10 with out a drink.

Had their lamb gyros at the MS campus. Delicious and ingredients tasted fresh. With garlic fries total comes to almost $ 10 which is quite a bit for a food truck gyro. Their chicken gyro however is really bland and not upto the mark.

Yes! Mr Gyros has finally brought their delicious Mediterranean food to the food truck market. I’ve seen the truck popup at a few different locations, and it’s always a welcome sight. Even though their menu has understandably been scaled down for the food truck, what they offer is still the tasty food I guarantee you’ll love. If you see the Mr Gyros truck, stop by for the friendly conversation and leave with a delicious sandwich!
