Amazing hairstylist! Even though I had to wait a bit, the wait was worth it. I figured that she was probably just trying to do a thorough job and I would appreciate that. And I was right!
I hadn’t had my hair cut in about 6 months and came in with only a basic idea what I wanted. She asked some questions and I came out with an awesome cut. Good conversationalist, which made the time fly by.
Very honest about what looks good and what products she likes because they work well. Didn’t blink an eye at my purple hair. Easy scheduling system on her site.

I was referred to Lauren Harrison Design Studio by my sister in law and boy did she do me a favor!!! Lauren is amazing! She is the rare breed who understands the difficulties that can come with having thick, waxy red hair that is a pain to deal with. She gave me my first hair cut in almost two years (bad experience left me wounded and scared) and she restored my faith!
Since my first visit, she has done my hair for a wedding and countless trims! She’s amazing! I have told everyone I know about her and my Mom, who is the pickiest of them all!, now goes to Lauren for all her hair needs. My Mom’s hair has never looked this good and I mean EVER!
Do plan ahead with Lauren, for she is so awesome, that means she books up quick! There’s a super easy booking option on her website and her salon is always clean and smells of fresh baked goods whenever I have an appointment :)

Lauren is a very talented and attentive hair stylist. I have curly hair which most hair stylists do not have enough skills to cut well so I have been through my fair share of stylists. Lauren did an excellent job fixing the bad cut from my last stylist, giving my hair the great shape it has been missing for a while! Lauren also did a great job with coloring my greys and has coloring options that do and do not contain ammonia. My 3 year old is also getting her hair cut by Lauren. She gets a grown-​up cut that looks wonderful. On top of being very skilled, Lauren is attentive, personable and awesome with children.

Lauren has been cutting my hair for over 10 years. She is an expert with a razor, giving my hair a beachy fun cut that never looks boring and never needs a lot of fussing. Not only is she a great stylist, I enjoy the time I am in her chair. We have great conversations. If you are looking for a stylist who is beyond up to speed on her trade, look no further.

Lauren has been cutting my hair for over a year now, and I won’t let anyone else touch it. Her knowledge of hair is so vast, that she can recommend — and recommend against — whatever is best for my particular needs. She’s also the kind of stylist who is simply a joy to visit; spending time in her chair is like hanging out with a good friend… and then you walk away looking amazing. I drive an hour to go get my hair cut by her, passing by (I estimate) thousands of stylists on my way — and it’s totally worth it. Thank you Lauren!
