Had the guacamole burrito with chicken — very good! Of course they have the real Coca-Cola so that’s always a plus. Really friendly staff. They do to-go which they pack with 3 different types of salsa. Clean. Overall I really liked the burrito. Tasted very fresh, and you get a lot. Definitely on par with many of the good taquerias in Portland. Enjoy!

I spent a day and a night in Redmond to see a friend from my high school days. It turned out later she was down with a cold. I didn’t feel too stood up because I got to eat at some good restaurants in Redmond! La Virtud was one of these places! I knew I was going into an authentic place because as soon as I walked in they had a whole case of the Conch Shell pastries. It took me a while for me to figure out what I wanted but I settled on the Chile Relleno. They did not have that so I went with their special which was a burrito. Because the place is a mix between Mexican and Peruvian cuisine the burrito was quite a bit different than other Mexican places. It definitely had it’s own flair to it. I had asada as my meat and it had some good fresh veggies and salsa. The tortilla that made up the burrito had a red tinge to it because it wad dipped in enchilada sauce which the combination was unique and quite good! It was kind of an ‘enchurrito’ that was popular in some areas of the country at one point and time. I would definitely come back! The food is good quality and inexpensive but some of the menu items listed may not always be available.
