Jim Jones – State Farm Insurance Agent

NEVER BUY INSURANCE FROM THIS AGENT OR STATE FARM!!!
State Farm Insurance and their agent — Jim Jones are scamming consumers by sugar coating their offering and then ditching consumers as soon as they file claims. Recently, I have had to deal with huge amount of problem with their unethical and down right illegal business practices. Here’s the run down:
1. They chose to kick me off my home policy, as soon as I filed a claim. The claim was 100% valid. If they had told me this is what would happened if I filed claim. I would have never bought insurance with them. Not to mention that I lost huge amount of money because of reduced insurance while switching.
2. Since my home policy was cancelled, there was no point in me keeping my auto policy with them as well. So I called them up on Dec 10^th to cancel my auto policy effective Jan 4^th 2012. Turns out the policy got cancelled on Dec 12^th. I just found out, I have been driving without insurance for almost 2 weeks.
3. Not only did they decide to abruptly cancel my auto policy they also sent me additional bill to be paid. $ 124 to be exact. If anything I should be getting refund, not getting charged more because my rates went up or my discount no longer applied.
