After getting the blue screen of death several times on my old Dell Laptop, I brought it to Computer Technical Services primarily out of convenience. The business is located in the same complex as my work, and I needed a quick fix. Unfortunately, there was no quick fix. My hard drive was mostly fried and much of the data could not be recovered. I was happy with the service though. The owner Steve was helpful, sympathetic, and offered to recover as much as he could from my Desktop. He replaced the hard drive and charged me $ 65 for the part and $ 85/hour for labor, which I felt was reasonable. I would go to Steve for future issues.
