Just moved here, not much to eat out near my apartment. Went to walgreens and saw this little place TJ bowl so I thought I’d give it a try. It was great unlike other teriyaki places I’ve been to they had shrimp and salmon bowls along with beef short ribs and your regular choices of chicken and beef. I got a combination plate with shrimp and short ribs with a side of macaroni salad and potato salad the service was very friendly and super fast. I was in and out in five minutes the portions were gracious and the food was delicious for a reasonable price. I give it five stars, because it was quick, easy and delicious! Going for the salmon bowl and gyoza next time, overall I loved it! Will be back very soon.

Overall T. J bowl is a great fast food restaurant! It has new ownership and the menu was tweaked a bit. Kind of a downer when the vegies weren’t being sold any more but they have 4 new sides of a variaty of salads and oranges to choose from. I love to go eat here on the weekends because the cashier is so sweet and just makes you feel loved in a professional way. The staff at T. J is great they are all very attentive and helpful. If you dont go for the food then atleast go for the awsome personalities that work their, Araceli is the weekend cashier and i recommend her for the best costumer service experience. Xoxo

Freshly cooked, not steam table food; not bad. The food taste pretty good but a couple of bite of teriyaki beef had bitter taste, not able to determine what’s going on.

I’d been wanting to try this spot since I received a post card a few months ago. I finally had the opportunity to stop by yesterday for lunch around 1:45 P.M. The place was empty. Restaurant was sparkling clean, pleasant and inviting. I ordered the shrimp and beef combination to go. Food was prepared to order, took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. The cashier and cook were smiling and friendly. I was directed to the condiment bar to take teriyaki sauce if I desired. I filled two small containers with sauce and drove back to work, a 10 minute drive. Quantity was impressive, a lot of food for the money. Unfortunately, the food was almost tasteless. The shrimp tasted«off» and somewhat old. The beef was chewy and devoid of flavor. The rice was mushy. Veggies were ok except for the cabbage, which may have been starting to go bad; it had a sharp unpleasant taste. The teriyaki was the worst, watery, flavorless sauce I’ve ever eaten. Sadly, TJ Bowl is a complete disappointment. Avoid like the plague.

I only stopped in here once. Im a huge fan of giving hole in the wall restaurants a chance. And a bigger plus is how It is right up the street from where I live so I gave it a shot. There was nothing wrong with the establishment. It was very nice on the outside; even waiting inside was nice, but the food was not very good. I had partly undercooked/overcooked steamed rice and the chicken/beef. I say chicken/beef because what it was didn’t taste like chicken nor beef. The meat looked like chewed up and spit out meat-curtains, and it tasted even less admirable. Sure the quantity of food was their but more bad food isn’t a plus in my book. I passed on panda bowl for this spot. I don’t know how this cost me $ 10 but both me and my roommate are off of this place from different unbiased visits. If the food has improved I truly give kudos but last month it wasn’t anywhere close to being good so you tell me… or don’t and save yourself the stomach ache.

I saw this place when I stopped at Walgreens and since it was near by my home, I suggested to the wife that we try it for dinner. We ordered the Chicken and Beef Teriyaki bowls, gyoza and egg rolls. The price for dinner for three was the same as any burger oriented fast food chain restaurant. The food was cooked fresh to order and was piping hot when we took it home. They included soy sauce, a sweet sauce packet and small packets of Sriracha. Everyone agreed it was tasty and filling. Not haute cuisine, but good food made fresh. We will definitely be back.

First this is a small family owned business. Nothing fancy; but, they are very kind. We’ve come here a few times now and service has always been good. Quality of food: Overall it is good, it was flavorful. My husband has bought the chicken and I normally buy the shrimp. The teriyaki sauce is tasty. They give it to you on the side, which is a big win. I prefer to pour it myself. We’ve also purchases the Korean BBQ short ribs and they were also tasty. Quantity of food: The bowl sizes are above average and they load up the meats. I couldn’t finish all the shrimp they put on my shrimp bowl. The amount of food is impressive, especially for a small business. Prices: VERYREASONABLE! If your looking for good quality take out food that is healthy and reasonably priced I would recommend this place. It’s certainly worth a try and we really enjoy it. We wish they were open on Sunday’s. :-)

Unfortunately I will never eat here again, the food had no flavor. The chicken and beef was so chewy it was hard to eat. The portions are big but not worth it at all, very disappointed.

I love this place, food is always tasty and the young girl At the counter is always smiling and so friendly, that’s why I order food to go at least once a week on my way home, My husband loves it also. I forgot to mention this place is always sparkling clean.
