Following my hair stylist, Sabrina, here. I love this new location; it’s simple and comfy with a chill ambiance. On top of that, it’s a diamond salon that sells Unite products too.
Sabrina gives totally awesome haircuts! I like my hair short but I hate the bob look. She does a great job adding texture and small layers to ensure it doesn’t look that way. :)

Seriously this is the best my hair has EVER looked! I’ve had my hair treated hundreds of times by these so-​called big salons and this is a hidden gem!!! Amoryn hooked my hair up! My hair looks like a Hollywood super star! Amoryn is the ultimate hair Goddess!!! My hair was her horrid when I walked in and fabulous when I walked out! I literally can’t stop smiling!!!

I’ve been coming here for years and I will Always stay loyal to The Hair Goddess Amoryn she is so gifted & talented and always knows exactly what I want and does everything to make sure I am satisfied as well as taking care my hair I’m always loving my color and the way my hair feels after she is done with it she is always so hospitable and makes sure everyone is comfortable she shines bright! And I leave everytime feeling like a new woman with some bomb Hair Always excited to get home to my husband and show off my hair which he always LOVES. I must start by bragging about my stylist Taryn, not only is she patient but she always does what it takes to achieve our goal. But bedsides how amazing she is, all the girl are amazing and the atmosphere is always lively and they make sure you feel welcome. Love this salon !!!

Sabrina is amazing!!! I’ve been going to her for more than a couple years now, after experiencing previous stylists who would go cut-​crazy and bleach my hair. I know I am not the easiest client to deal with, but she is very patient and listens to what I want when it comes to my hair. And this says a lot coming from someone who doesn’t trust just anyone with my locks!

I’m writing this review on behalf of my wife. She was looking for a new salon and this place was recommended to her by some friends. They mentioned to book with Amoryn.
Place: very easy to find. Very clean and nicely decorated. Great parking (which could be an issue in downtown redlands).
Service: overall very very good. Amoryn called back to schedule appointment in a very timely fashion. She even called me back the night before to remind me. I was offered water and coffee multiple times during my visit. everyone was so friendly.
Haircut: I was really nervous about trying out a new salon. I was also planning on trying a new hairstyle. I showed her a pic and she went to work. I was really happy with the results.
Value: The total price was very fair for what I got. I was happy with it.
I would definitely go back.

I’ve been going to my hair stylist Amoryn for years and always will. I’ve had my hair done by others in the past, but nothing ever made me want to stick to one specific person until I went to her; she does amazing work and even my mother and sister get their hair done by her. Amoryn’s personality is so bubbly and inviting, it always feels like I’m talking to an old friend.

I don’t have a Unilocal account but I made one just so I can write a review for Lindsey. And I just want to say that she did such an amazing job and I’ve never been happier with my hair after she was done with the hair color and even hooked me up with a hair trim yesterday! I’ve been to 2 different hair salons, showed them a picture of what I want done to my hair and both didn’t come close to what Lindsey accomplished. And what’s worse was that I was ridiculously over charged (over $ 200!) at the 2^nd hair salon but I still wasn’t satisfied with how my hair looked. With Lindsey, she only charged me $ 120 which I thought was reasonable and for sure no one else will do my hair other than her! :) Another thing too is that the staff are really accommodating and professional.
By the way, happy birthday to you Lindsey! Keep up the good work! :)

Amoryn is awesome and her vast knowledge and experience has made her one of the best hair stylists in the area. There are probably more salons in Redlands than even food eating places but when it comes to actually getting the experience that we all deserve… only a few can deliver. Amoryn is exceptional and she provides a wow experience every time. My wife and I have been seeing her now for about six months and we truly love the way she cuts, colors, and styles it every time. There is a reason why she is booked for weeks in advance and be patient… she works really hard and will find a way to make some time for you.

I wanted to get my hair colored and Unilocal’ed this place since I’m not from the area. Lindsey Adame was my stylist. I asked to be a redhead. Mind you, I have naturally black hair. Lindsay pulled it off effortlessly. I didn’t even know that I could ever pull off this color. The place is upscale and the ambience definitely is superior. You get what you pay for. I will definitely come back if Im in the area.

I took my MIL to Salon Shags for her first haircut in many years, and was THRILLED with how it turned out. She’s super picky, and was really nervous about getting a cut, but walked out smiling. Lindsay was her stylist, and she was so sweet and patient, and really took the time to listen and work with my MIL. I myself go to a different salon for my cuts, but next time, I’ll be visiting Salon Shags.

I have been going to this hair salon for my color and cut for more than 15 years. Eva is just the best. She is always accurate in her color and styling. Sometimes because of work schedule, I would have to cancel my appointment. Eva would accommodate me on short notice. Customer service is the best. I love the décor of the place.

I’ve been having my hair done by Tresa for almost 20 years she has NEVER let me down. When I go in the next day after having my hair done I ALWAYS receive great compliments. I LOVE her forever!

I recently had a cut and color done by Lindsey and absolutely LOVED the way it turned out. I am a natural redhead and have never had color added to my hair (yes, you heard right, at 52 I have never colored my hair). But now that I am getting quite a few grays, it was time to get some if it covered up. Lindsey gave me highlights and lowlights in a darker shade of red and a lighter, almost blonde shade. My color has never looked better. So much dimension. And the cut was fantastic as well. I’m now looking forward to my next color appointment to see what she has in store for me. I’m just sorry I didn’t take any before and after pics to share here. Next time! :)

Went in for a trim and demi color that would help neutralize the red in my hair (to med/​dark neutral brown).
I got the tiniest of trims, leaving my hair heavy and bulky. Lindsey was my stylist and was very nice but I wasn’t sure of her methods of coloring my hair. I’m not used to having a squeeze bottle used on me at a salon or using a heater for semi permanent color (especially since I had 3 old, washed out colors and roots happening).
The place is plain inside, and I wasn’t impressed by anything except a chair. I posted a before and after picture of my hair… which was taken down. I put it back up. It’s the side by side of my striped hair before and after.
I am glad so many people are happy with their hair from here, it is good to keep local businesses going. Perhaps my vision wasn’t their strong point. I won’t be back.
***UPDATE***
Shortly after this was posted Amoryn, the manager contacted me and was very apologetic. She offered to have the salon work on the color more at no additional charge. I have since seen another stylist and will not be taking her up on that… but it was a professional gesture. I feel like if you did decide to give this salon a try, they WILL stand behind their work until you are happy. Customer service… it’s the make or break. They have good customer service.

Get your hair done by Lindsey! I got my hair cut and colored by her yesterday and have gotten so many compliments. This girl will make you look so stylish and really knows what she’s doing! Plus, she gives a good scalp massage during washing :)

I have been coming here for some time and I am always sooo happy with my hair. I love Eva she took my boring long hair and gave me an amazing A line bob and color that I am im love with.

I have a great experience in this salon. Previously, I have been going to another salon in Redlands for almost 5 years, lets just say Salon «A». Recently, I had a bad experience at Salon «A» and I was so disappointed how my hair turned out. The cut and suppose to be the Ombré, did not meet my expectations at all. Don’t get me wrong, Salon «A» is a good salon, but I was not very happy from my last experience and not to mention I spend quite amount of money to get my hair done there. Moreover, my husband started to notice how uneven my hair was. That’s bad when a guy noticed your bad haircut, right!!!
Anyhow, went to Salon Shag and I was so impressed by the customer service that Amoryn provided! I loved how she interacts with her customers. She makes you feel like one of your closest girlfriends lol. Also, the other stylists are so friendly and hospitable! Amoryn was such a sweet heart and corrected my color and gave me a great cut. FYI: My hair was down to my waist and now is shoulder length.
Overall, I had a great experience and recently went back to her and got my «hurrr did». Love the result and will go back to this salon again!
