Went in to drop off my Singer sewing machine which I’ve used for 25 yrs. Maybe once a years I’ve taken it to places because the timing was off. The woman or young lady at the counter said it would be a beginning charge of $ 140. without even looking at it. I’ve been in the biz for 30 yrs Thats plain and simple BS and a rip off. Thanks, I’ll drive to my place in LA and have it serviced for $ 60.

I am so very impressed with the care and service I received at Redlands Sewing Center. Although there are other stores a bit closer to my home, I choose to purchase a Bernina Deco 340 from Redlands. Winnie and Dot were so sweet and spent a great deal of time showing me how to use the machine and the infinite possibilities for embroidery designs. I went home absolutely excited and immediately starting creating. Thank you for your superb service.

As a new owner of an Ellisimo(which I bought out of the area), I was looking for classes. Redlands Sewing Center has great classes for all levels of sewers. Their variety of thread and notions is impressive, and the prices are in line with other quality quilt fabric stores. I haven’t been going there long, but they greet me by name and make me feel like part of a big family.

I have been a customer of Redlands Sewing Center for many years, but have become increasingly dissatisfied with the poor service and over-pricing of their machines and products. Having purchased many top-of-the-line machines from them in the past, I intended to purchase another in April, 2012. The Babylock machine I was interested in cost $ 12,000.00. The same machine was being sold at 3 local competitors for $ 2700.00 less, and I asked them to price match so that I could remain a faithful customer. The store owner was very rude and refused to even consider the cash sale! She refused to consider the past sales I had made, or that I was a valued customer! I immediately left the store and drove straight to her competitor where I purchased the machine from a very polite and grateful store owner! I will never purchase from Redlands Sewing Center again, and regret that they do not value their long-term customers!

I’ve been a customer of this store for 20 years. It is dedicated to the serious sewer who appreciates fine quality machines that will be used frequently. This is not where you go when you think you want to sew your first Halloween costume to see if you like sewing. This is where you go when you have a passion for creating. The staff is the best educated in all of Southern California period. In my experience they have never tried to up-sell to a model that is more than your needs or budget. Yes a quality sewing machine is expensive, but no more so then a quality set of golf clubs and you can’t use the clubs to make shirts, dresses, or baby quilts. I’ve brought several friends to this store that is 30 miles from my home because of the quality of product and staff. This shop offers classes and accessories for furthering your own education and enjoyment of this skill. Teachers who are thorough in knowledge as well as generous with their attention guarantee you will have the help necessary to meet your own challenges. What makes this store unique is the feel of excitement and creativity generated by the staff and displays. When you are planning on shopping everything you need to compare is in the room. A decade ago my husband came this store to buy me my first serger on the sly and they made him feel at ease even though he wasn’t sure what the equipment would do. He has been rewarded in return with the many shirts and costumes I’ve completed using the right tool for the job. Remember a sewing machine is a power tool for fabric!

This place is staffed with knowledgeable and helpful people. They have berninas, janome, brother and viking sewing machines. They are very patient and have a wide selections of classes, on weeknights and weekends! The kids club is always full! The classes are small so you get a personalized attention. The customer support is priceless!

My Grandmother bought me a sewing machine from the Redlands Sewing Center for my birthday. I live about 300 miles north of Redlands, but came down to pick up my gift and attend a sewing lesson she scheduled for me at the Sewing Center. The ladies at the shop were so helpful and knowledgeable. They were patient in showing a novice like myself how to work with my new machine and a few cool tricks. Also they all have good advice and tips to help you along. If you are looking to get into sewing or are well-versed in it, this is the place to go! It was even worth it for me to drive 5 hours.
