Food is decent and the service makes the food taste poor. Cashier woman very rude not helpful. I Will not be coming back strictly due to the service.

The best Chinese food place you will ever encounter in Redlands. Food: 5⁄5 Price: 5⁄5(get the dinner combo… it’s the best option!) Service: 5⁄5 prompt. They’re shy, but they mean well(I think).

I love their chicken with cashews, it’s awesome. Egg flower soup is also very tasty. I have been here several times and I don’t have a complaint about any of the food, it’s always hot, good and reasonably priced. Now its not fast food and may take some time to get your order and staff is more focused on getting orders than they are being extra friendly but I still keep returning :)

LOVE their food! Just discovered this place on Christmas Day. Have been there 3 times already! Lol! Totally consistent, huge portions, delicious specialties & super reasonable prices! So glad we found them, well worth the drive from North San Bern.

My favorite Chinese food. Love their hot and sour soup, steamed chicken, and their iced tea is great to top it off. Open Kitchen staff is friendly and never ceases to remember my order. Always very fast and very fresh!

Where should I start… food was a 1… service a negative 5… waiter was rude and staff doesn’t even pretend to care about their customers.. you walk in and they carry on a sour face. I swear I was so close to walk out but I decided to stick it out incase things were going to get better but I was sure mistaken. If you get food from here order take out otherwise you will be left with a sour taste in your mouth… I know I did!!! won’t be here again…

I honestly don’t know why the food is rated so high. They were great when they were on Orange Street, and the service was good. Now its just kind of meh. The one star rating is because they are all so rotten, so rude and so nasty that I will never go there again. I can understand having a bad day, but these folks are just consistently miserable to deal with. No thanks.

Quick and can order a steamed chicken veggie plate! With no sauce. Good for the waistline and quick. My kids like their chow mein! Hate that the owner parks her car right in front of the business. Major pet peeve. However the food is always hot and cooked to order.

First off, we are not typical people to complain but Open Kitchen was HORRIBLE and a WASTEOF $$$. First, the older woman that was at the counter was in a hurry and very short with me. When i asked what was in the # 13 Hunan Beef dish, she replied«beef with sauce». Very vague! Does it have vegetables? «Yes». Well what vegetables?! Turns out the Hunan Beef WAS spicy, as advertised and what I was looking for, but that’s ALLITWAS, spicy with NOFLAVOR! Came with flavorless fried rice, and bland soup. PLUS I DIDN’T GETMYDAMNEGGROLLDAMNIT!(We ordered to go) Ordered wonton soup, it had 1 piece of broccoli, 2 snow pees, and a couple shreds of carrots. Soup was flavorless as well! Don’t go, save your $ for someplace else. And now my stomach is starting to turn as I finish this review. Greeeaat :(

Great food. The only reason why I chose 1 was because I did go in with a med cup from somewhere else and after we were done we paid and gave her half of the total which the total was 43 and change so 20 dollars and when we were walking out I decided to refill my med cup she stopped me right after I was just putting ice and told me «no no drink for you if is not our cup». So we just left.

The food is so good. Everything made fresh! The fish with vegetables is my favorite! Love love love it. Except the staff are so rude, its like they don’t want to be bothered.

Best Chinese I’ve had in redlands. Place is clean, everything is made to order fresh, no frozen foods. It’s a bit pricey but it’s quality.

Great food! The food tastes fresh which is not often the case with chinese food, it’s not too greasy either. The servings are large and filling. After dinner I end up with enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

It is me again. Just went there couple days ago. Although the service is not the best, the food always makes my day. Ordered sesame chicken this time, it tastes good as usual.

The food is good and fairly priced but the service is not always the nicest. I would still go there though.

The food is made to order. No heat lamps and watery rice. Love their orange chicken. The prices are average for fast food restaurants. There can be a bit of a wait in the evening so call in your order.

Ok look guys this is the inland empire and this kind of food– asian food– is hard to come by for some reason… I do love their garlic tofu. It’s my go-to whenever I want some decently healthy and really fresh tasting«asian» food!

Open Kitchen is my go-to place for chinese take out. It is located in a grocery store center, so parking is never a problem. The interior is like your typical chinese fast food place — booths with benches and some tables. But the thing about Open Kitchen is that is does not use heat lamps; instead, they cook to order. The first thing you hear from the cashier when you enter is if your order is for dine in or take out. They have a lot of combo’s to choose from, but my favorite is Chicken Mixed Vegetables because to it tastes the most fresh. I’ve tried General Tsao’s chicken and Open Kitchen chicken, and while those are both tasty, they’re also fried and oily. So back to Chicken Mixed Vegetables; the combo comes with your choice of soup(I choose egg drop soup), egg roll, steamed or fried rice, and then the entrée. All for ~ $ 7, that’s a deal! And the entrée itself tastes so fresh, right out of the pan! The steamed rice also tastes right out of the pot. What can I say, made to order chinese food is by far the best kind of chinese food. So far, Open Kitchen is the place for chinese take out!
