Leroy’s Shoes & Clothing

I received poor service at another State St. store today and left, deciding to go to Leroy’s instead. When I walked in I was reminded how consistently good theirs is – the sales people are always so friendly and attentive. My devotion has been earned!

Cool clothes and shoes, locally owned and staffed by folks who live here.
I have had good service and purchased many sale merchandise. Some of the list prices are high for what I need, but they have cute and fun clothes that I appreciate.

Customer service sucks here!!! Waited forever to have someone ask me if I needed a certain size in a pair of shoes when they were doing nothing but standing around talking! I asked the worker about the shoes and he had answer he had no idea! Don’t understand why they would hire someone who doesn’t know anything about the product. Haven’t been back since.

Service sucks waited 30 min b4 anybody said Hi prices suck too, keep your bling Leroy…

Well organized and the staff is pretty cool too. Good selection of Stance socks, came with my family for my birthday prezzie. I picked out a pair of «Garden Punk» Stance socks, love them. Cute clothing, swimsuits, shoes, accessories etc in here as well.

Bought a pair of shoes for my madre on her bday and this place wouldn’t let me use their bathroom. They said I had to walk to CVS for the closest public restroom to take a piss. LOL ok, pretty bad customer service. I know it’s not the employees choice, and falls back on management.
This made me not even want to purchase the shoes here. Lucky for them I didn’t have time to drive over to the mall and get them elsewhere. But I won’t be keeping this place in mind for future purchases.
Staff was neither outgoing, nor rude… just moot.
Prices are about $ 3-​$ 5 higher on Tshirts than Zumiez etc. And it scales higher on other items. Do yourself a favor and shop CCS online for the same clothing items at half the price and usually with free shipping.

I hate to sound elitist but honestly I feel like their prices are on par with other similar clothing stores. Sure their Obey and RVCA stuff is higher priced as it is name brand and trendy. It’s going to cost more, period. Their basic clothing pieces are extremely affordable in my opinion (between 25 and 30 dollars). I’ve picked on some nice items recently including a lovely black A-​Line dress for 30 bucks that I have been complimented on every single time I have worn it.
I love dropping in this store on market nights and picking up some nice, simple jewelry sets which are typically in the 15 to 20 dollar range for an earring/​necklace set. It’s a great «go-​to» place for me when shopping for my girlfriends for birthday gifts. The staff here is absolutely awesome too and so friendly. I try at all times to support local businesses in my community so I don’t mind paying what probably amounts to less than 5 to 10 percent more than someplace else.

I’ve shopped Leroy’s for years in an effort to stay local, however I won’t be patronizing the State St. location any longer. I tried to return a shirt that had shrunk so much it was unwearable and they refused to exchange it. That is the problem with shopping local, I guess. I’ve had this happen once before, and that shop, NOT Leroy’s returned the merchandise with absolutely no problem. Very disappointed! Will make the drive to Zumiez or shop online from now on!

This place is pretty pricey. They don’t have many sales either! (Bummer) my husband usually goes to get a nice Hurley t shirt or something– however they NEVER have size large! They don’t get a lot if shipments in and once the sizes are gone they don’t replenish it. It’s all quite random as far as merchandise. Worth checking out– but it’s very hit or miss!

I’d say the same as Elle d. They have really great merch and great staff but the prices are pretty ridiculous. It would be so nice to be able to stay local and shop for my shoes, clothes, etc. but saving a CHUNK of change def makes the drive to tillys or zumies worth it.

I want to love this place. After all, they always have nice people working there who greet you upon your arrival and are always eager to help with anything you might need, even going as far as to call other Leroy’s stores to check if what you are looking for might be in stock there; however, they are just so overpriced! I love their clothes, hats, shoes, and purses. I really do. I just wonder why they have the exact same products at other similar stores for less money.
