This place is delicious. It’s really easy to customize exactly what you want on your burger because the menu has all the toppings listed there so you don’t have to question what might be on it. The meat is cooked nicely and the burger tastes delicious. The fries are super good, too — not oily and not overly crispy, but just like fried potatoes should be. Probably the best fries I’ve ever had. They give really generous portions, too. I ordered small, so they filled up the small cup with fries, and then put enough fries in the bag to fill up the cup again! Unlimited free peanuts from the moment you walk in, and they have those new Coke machines where you can get every Coke product imaginable. The price is definitely more than it should be, though. $ 6.49 for a hamburger is asking a bit much(Note: Regular hamburgers come with TWO patties — the«little hamburgers» come with one patty… so really, they’re not«little» — they’re normal). $ 3.99 for the little fries is okay, considering the generous portion size and how good they are. $ 2.39 for the smallest(«regular») drink.

It’s good but in n out is better. Free peanuts is cool! I just hope I don’t get jumped by a bunch of elephants on the way to my car lol

I held off coming in here cause I’m not a big burger fan, and really there are truly only a handful of good/great burger joints out there, so even with the hype i wasn’t expecting much. So after the long awaited hype, I’m underwhelmed. I had a little bacon cheeseburger and a oreo shake. 1st off a shakes consistency is thick this was creamy water. I got the burger with the works, wanted to have the full experience… it was all too much, and just okay. I would have been happier at in and out, if your looking for a comparison Service was good, the place was well kept up, there was someone attending to all areas, no slack in their processes.

Great burgers. My only complaint is the size of the fries. One small order is to big for even me. I feel like I’m wasting good.

Had Five Guys for the first time today, the burgers are super good, it’s refreshing to get something different from the innout burger near us. I thought the fries were good, just make sure you have a drink to wash them down with because they are pretty thick. The staff working were helpful explaining things to us and the cooks seemed to be polite and hard working. Glad we finally gave this place a shot.

I have been coming to this Five Guys since the first day it Open. I was so excited to know they were opening this one up after becoming so enthralled with their burgers when my son was at Andrews Air Force base in Washington DC. But over time out here this Redlands Five Guys service ha really dropped off. Tonight I came and there was only 3 workers. One at the counter, one flipping burgers, one out on the floor sweeping up. The guy on the grill heard our order and filled a large cajun fries and set it aside. Then continued cooking another order for a customer a head of us. He got him a order of fries at that same time and finished up that order. Then he began on our burgers. We had gone over to the drinks and they were out of several selections. I mention it to the kid that was grilling and he called the gal on floor to see if she knew how to fix the drinks. She acted like she sort of knew and began to look into it. It got busy at the front counter she left the drinks undone to go to help at the front counter. By now that cup of fries had grown cold, he had made some fresh ones that did the fries topper into the bag on top. When we went to eat the fries the fresh ones on top were not done they were soggy and not cooked through. The burgers were excellent and very tastee. But Fries was not up to par on this visit. I don’t care to hear a apology from Five Guys Auto Response of Kevin. So if you see that auto response after this just know that is Five Guys way to try to sift the blame and make you think they care… A AUTORESPONSEISNOTCARE it’s only a bandaid to a problem.

This place is always packed but is worth the wait. Tastes like an amazing homemade burger. Free peanuts while you wait for your food and a kick butt beverage machine. highly recommend

I’ll start on a positive note, the hamburgers were better than average.(3 stars) However, I’ve never been told I can’t order my hamburger cooked medium rare. Apparently they have a company policy that burgers have to be cooked one way, their way. Well done. What? Makes me think they’re concerned about their beef supply. I should have left because the people working there were just plain unfriendly. You need to work on your customer service. For example, instead of «are you going to have one or two patties?» You might ask, «have you been here here before?» Then asked if I want one or two patties since you want to get a jumpstart on cooking them(especially since they have to be cooked well done. LOL). I had no idea what you were asking since I had never been here before nor had I looked at the menu. Oh, who likes to eat out of a bag when you are eating in and not taking it to go? I felt like a kid on the playground at lunch.(They serve the food in a bag regardless of whether you eat in or take out.) It got worse… Lol. A lady with her wild kids came in, one of them screaming bloody murder as they came through the door, and the other who immediately ran over and started playing with the soda machine. Ewwww. You 5 guys better clean the soda machine and not worry about med-rare hamburgers. I wanted to like this place because it’s not a huge chain-mega-conglomerate type business.

I eat here often, and today Adam showed great customer service in a situation that did not require him to provide above and beyond service. I appreciate it Adam!

On this day I wanted to sit down and have an adult sized hamburger. Five Guys delivered exactly what I wanted. It was moist, flavorful and a perfect size. Service was great! Why get a McDonald’s sized burger at In and Out?

I gave 2 stars for effort. …and the peanuts. The burgers are not anything as they are hyped up to be. They are comparable to maybe Gus Jr or another corner burger joint. Way over charged for what you get…

Really awesome burger that is thick, juicy, and very tasty. French fries are pretty good but a little too greasy. Hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwich are very good for my kids. Ambience is nice with amazing soda machines that offer hundreds of soda varieties.

Never been to Five Guys before and after my visit I won’t go back. Everything was great when ordering the food, ordered a bacon cheeseburger and Cajun fries, had I know it was a double cheeseburger, I probably would have order the little cheeseburger. But that’s all a moot point now. While we just finishing up something ran by our feet and booked it to the other side of the restaurant and my daughter said omg it’s a mouse, the mouse was in the corner trying to jump up the wall. The Manager asked what was going on and we told him there is a mouse, then he and my son in law went to catch it, the damn thing ran towards me again, then the manager and my son in law trapped the mouse, and the manager grabbed the mouse in one of the towels they use and took the mouse to the back of the store were the food is cooked SOOOOOOOFREAKINGGROSS!!! I had a very hard time keeping my food down, I was soo grossed out by what happened and kept thinking if there is one mouse in the front of the place not caring about being seen, how many are hiding? Never ever again! Ruined my experience with Five Guys.

This was a great place and we enjoyed eating here. The service was fast and friendly and the burgers were outstanding. Very clean inside and that must take a lot of work on their part with as busy as this place was. It still goes to show that busy usually translates into great food and service. The only downside we could see was the parking issue. Several businesses and eateries come together in this corner of the lot so parking can be a bit of a problem. Outdoor seating is also available next to the wonderful outside fountain. A solid five star place with the level of the food and service! We will be back

My husband and I decided to try a new burger place and we’ve seen Five Guys when driving around and also have heard ppl rave about it. We came in for lunch and the girl up front was very helpful since we’ve never been there before. My husband and I both ordered the hamburger, drinks and large fries. The hamburgers were full of flavor and very juicy. They were also huge. Next time, I will order the little hamburger. The fries were piping hot and also good. We ordered the large fries not realizing that the large would’ve fed 4 ppl. They also do not skimp of the portion. The fries came in cup and when they bagged it, they also threw in enough fries to fill another large cup. I loved it!!! They also have free peanuts for patrons to munch on while they wait for their food. Overall, food was good and service was good. Will definitely be back.

I never met a cheeseburger I didn’t like. Of all the wonderful foods in this world, I think cheeseburgers are one thing I could probably eat everyday.(In a world with no calories, that is.) However, not all cheeseburgers are created equal. I took a recent survey amongst some of my Facebook friends and was surprised to find a pretty even division between In-N-Out and Five Guys lovers. I thought it might be interesting to compare them and see which cheeseburger reigns supreme. I’ve graded the burgers according to five categories: meat, bun, toppings, sauce, and overall taste. I think that pretty much covers the important stuff. Here we go… Meat Meat is probably the most important component to any good burger. It gives the burger its uniqueness and character. Above all things, quality and care for the hamburger patty are the two most important components to having a delicious cheeseburger. In-N-Out and Five Guys both use hamburger that is never frozen and is delivered fresh a couple times a week, so you know the meat is fresh and you can taste the quality. Both grill their meat to a perfect«medium well» on a flat surface, which creates a nice crust on the outside. The big difference here is the amount of meat on the burger. Five Guys has a considerably larger patty, which, in my opinion, gives them an edge. Winner: Five Guys Bun If the meat is the most important component, then the bun is the second most important — it serves as the foundation. Five Guys has fresh sesame seed buns that hold up pretty well to the large amount of toppings that can sometimes be found on a typical Five Guys burger. As long as you eat the burger pretty quickly, you shouldn’t have too big of a mess. However, I’ve noticed that the bun begins to disintegrate if you wait too long before eating, and nobody likes a soggy bun. In-N-Out’s buns are soft, chewy, and in perfect ratio to the rest of the burger. They also hold up really well. They put a light toast on the bun with butter, which gives them extra richness in flavor and slightly crispy texture. You can’t beat In-N-Out’s buns. Winner: In-N-Out Toppings In-N-Out has a very limited number of options when it comes to toppings. They are your typical old-school burger joint. «Burger purists,» you might call them: no bacon, no guacamole, and no flashiness — just pure burger deliciousness. Five Guys, on the other hand, has a long list of toppings for their burgers — everything from grilled mushrooms and onions to raw jalapeños. This was an easy decision: more toppings equal a win for Five Guys. Winner: Five Guys Sauce Five Guys gives you the choice of mayo, mustard, ketchup, barbecue, and even A1 steak sauce to put on your burger. A lot of options are always a good thing, but In-N-Out gives you something better… much better. I’m talking about a sauce straight from heaven called«Spread.» Spread is basically a delicious combination of mayo, ketchup, spices, and pickle relish that makes the most perfect condiment. In short, Five Guys never stood a chance. Winner: In-N-Out Overall Taste Both burgers are delicious, that much is true. But when it comes to making a choice between the two, I have to go with In-N-Out. When you put the bun, spread and toppings all together, you pretty much have the perfect burger. That’s why you don’t need a bunch of different options to customize your burger. There’s a reason why Californians are so proud to call their state home(annoyingly so, at times), and that reason is In-N-Out Burger. Winner: In-N-Out Final Score: In-N-Out 3, Five Guys 2 Honorable Mention Fries: Five Guys wins this one by a landslide. Five Guys’ fries are thick-cut, cooked in peanut oil, and even come in regular or «Cajun» style. These are quite possibly the most delicious fries on earth. Winner: Five Guys Price: Five Guys’ Cheeseburger(Two Patties) for $ 5.79. In-N-Out’s Double Double Cheeseburger for $ 2.99. Winner: In-N-Out
