Seabreeze Island Grill & Raw Bar

Nice surprise for lunch today. Jerk mahi mahi was fresh, if a little light on the Jerk seasoning. Shrimp with Pasta was a better choice. Drinks big and affordable. Ashley was a great waitress and treated us well. Hope to be back for the luau in March!

Seabreeze is always good — specials are usually priced well and they menu is diverse. They have a Fixed price menu with dessert that is good and a great value. Great view and outside seating! Nice drink specials too!
We had a bad experience with the oysters — they were dirty, gritty and had a black coating of something on them — inedible!
In general they are good — just would not recommend that raw oyster special!!!

The ribs were good and her rum pineapple chicken was ok thus 3 stars. Our waitress Jamie was great, she gets 5 stars

Thursday special on oysters!!! $ 7.00 for a dozen, one of the best deals on the beach! $ 5.00 rum runners to wash down those delicious treats. Restaurant is clean along with attractive bar staff.

Was told about this place at the pool today at Madeira yacht club. Great atmosphere, got to eat outside. Jessica was a killer waitress. All the fish you can eat on Wednesday for 9.99. AWESOME. Will be back.

This food will make you happy! The service is fast and friendly. The view is amazing. The prices are an amazing value. Ty was a very cool waiter.

Yuck! Not sure about their seafood BUT DO not order the BBQ ribs disgusting and the beans and rice ?! No flavor at all. this restaurant definitely shouldn’t be listed under Caribbean food. nowhere near !!

Of course we opted to sit outside with a lovely view of the water. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere, very inviting. Service was prompt and friendly. I have to say prices were very reasonable for a seafood restaurant. The food was good but nothing spectacular. They offer a very nice happy hour with $ 3 margaritas and draft beers. Our meal also came with a nice addition of coconut and pineapple bread with coconut butter. can we say yum! It was a nice treat before our meal. This is a very family friendly environment with a great view, all in all a good experience.

The food was awesome and our experience was amazing. The hostess was very accommodating to our large group and our server Jessica was helpful and very friendly. I would definitely would come back again. Also there’s live music!

Love the fact they always have hogfish in menu. NOONE does that! If is a speared fish. You can’t catch it w a fish pole. Waterfront and food is consistently good!!!

Getting right to it, I ordered crab cakes, fried the real deal crab cakes… nummy…num nums. Great waitress, nice dinner all around. Give this place a shot, you should enjoy as we did. This was a good start to this years florida food tour. Definitely we agreed that we wouldn’t hesitate coming back.

Great view. Good food. Nothing fancy but it’s a nice family friendly spot with great service. The grilled grouper entrée with black beans and rice was good. My wife had grilled mahi tacos and those were tasty as well. Nice kids options (definitely go for the grilled mahi — great value). Happy hour from 11 – 7 daily

My boyfriend and I are constantly on the search for snow crab legs. We happened to be driving up Gulf Blvd «Saturday afternooning» when the crab need hit us. So, we googled, and came across Seabreeze Island Grill as the nearest «crab legs near me» result. Clearly we had to reply to Siri: «What the hell; let’s do it!»
Well, I’m glad we did! Please note: this is my first Unilocal review. And Unilocal reviews usually focus on the horrible experiences of our fellow «hate to cook» brethren, but, this Unilocal review is a shockingly refreshing and positive one. The crab was 1) tasty, 2) came out of its shell in full chunks, 3) reasonably priced and 4) went down well with $ 2 Miller Lites. Seabreeze Island Grill: Bam!

Coming from MN, this place had an awesome spacious outdoor seating on the water. Excellent service, attentive cute server, Jessica, helped us with our choices. Loser mac n cheese, perfect cheesiness with big chunks of lobster, not too rich, delicious! Shrimp pasta with lots of shrimp in dish! They make homemade macadamia/​coconut butter with homemade chewy bread with hard edges. Such a great outdoor dinner with kids! We would recommend this place to anyone in the area

Every visit to Seabreeze results in a great experience from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service and everything in-​between. We like to go on Thursdays for the $ 7/​dozen raw oysters. Last night we got there before six so we all took advantage of the early bird specials. A nice selection of several dinners that include a dessert for $ 12. The bread with the macadamia nut butter is awesome!
I had the lobster mac and cheese which was very good and dessert was cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Hubby had the grilled jerk Mahi. He said it was good for the price.
The $ 3 margaritas (every day) are surprising delicious as well. We were going to try a new restaurant for our second Thursday on vacation next week, but I’m thinking it will be a repeat of Seabreeze!

What can I say about this establishment besides why. Why is the dining room area temperature the same as the walk in freezer in the basement? Why does the clam chowder taste like feet? Why is the only edible thing on the menu the coconut shrimp? After asking myself these questions I still proceeded to order dinner. And by dinner I mean a dry rack of not so baby back ribs and 7 – 11 quality chicken which was topped off with a bbq sauce that could have passed as Mobile 1 motor oil, synthetic of course. If you’re looking for 2am tummy bubbles look no further, if you’re looking for a good meal, please keep looking. For a picture of the «chicken» please take a look at the pic I posted. Seabreeze is in a location that I have been frequenting since it was a Shells location… I absolutely love the ICW view and the vibe of the entire restaurant.
I have of course eaten here on numerous occasions and as with any restaurant service or kitchen can let you down from time to time but the average is always on the side of excellent service and very good food here at Seabreeze.
The bar inside is bright and cheery and has a wonderful view as any waterfront restaurant bar should. The bartenders are almost always top notch and well prepared for any challenge to make a drink or offer the standard $ 3 Margaritas & $ 5 Rum Runners to bring a smile…
The outside bar & patio is the place to be in the cooler months or at night (Can be a bit warm during the lunch hour in the summer). Here you find dockage for you boat and if you come by boat they offer you a free beer!
I enjoy the oysters when on special ($ 7 a dozen) and the All You Can Eat Fried Fish for $ 9.99 — follow the facebook page to get updates on when these prices are in effect and any other specials they may offer, including Hula nights!
if you are on the beaches and need an honest meal at a fair price or a cold drink with a view, inside or out… This should be one of your top choices in mid Pinellas County on the Beaches…

Party of 6 of us tonight. Steve was our waiter and can’t say enough good things about him. First off there was some miscommunication with some of our party so it took a good 40 minutes to get everyone there. Steve was patient with us and we relaxed with appetizers and drinks until everyone made it.
Fresh baked pineapple bread was wonderful. We had a calamari appetizer and a side dinner salad. Love their ranch and blue cheese dressings. The wife and I had the grouper cheeks dinner which is so tasty.
All drinks were kept filled. Manager dropped by to say hi.
Beautiful view of the inter-​coastal. I cannot think of a better place to relax with friends and have a few drinks and a bite to eat.

Dined there on a week night. Three stars because of the view, fresh fish and the patio is dog friendly.
The grouper was fresh, I chose for it to be grilled. The sides, green beans and carrots, were not edible as they were undercooked. The rice and black beans were okay at best. I will choose French fries and a salad as my sides if I return. The Unilocal «check in» appetizer was calamari. It was prepared okay. The marinara was bland.
The service is not great. We had food delivered to our table that didn’t belong to us and our meals were taken to other tables. Most of the servers seem unhappy to be there.
