I took My 2nd and 4th grader on a field trip to this planetarium last week, and really enjoyed it! The presentation was good, the staff friendly, and all the stuff to check out afterwards like pieces of asteroids, and cool building toys made it really fun!

I took my girls, 3rd grader and 7th grader on a school field trip. I had never heard of this place! We had such an educational experience! Looking forward to returning and recommending it to my friends and family.

I tried the Schreder Planetarium last night for the first time in 25 years and NOTHING has changed. The footage they show is out dated and the projector displays a very washed out sky with no details. All the stars were blurry and the screen was too bright, like someone had a light on in the room… but they didn’t. I love how there’s only seating for less than 70 people, but the seats are very old and uncomfortable. The Schreder Planetarium needs a serious face lift. At $ 8 a pop for only a one hour show, which consisted of a watered down«Discovery» show, I expected a lot more.
