Wow!
Loved this little spot! Great atmosphere, very earthy seating w the gigantic wood plank bar and tables. Has lots of personality and felt like the perfect hole-​the-​wall kinda place (I hesitate writing this review because I don’t want it to be over run with people!)
Had the spicy and sweet pizza– FANTASTIC!
Best I’ve had in all of Shasta Co.
There beer selection isn’t huge but then again it’s «mini» now that I think about it

This is definitely the place I choose to splurge and indulge in a tasty pizza! The location is small, quaint and nice to stop by on a whim. Their pizza gets me to come back every time. Oh… and of course the beer is great too! Ha!

Best pizza ever! They are extremely family friendly! They know our kid’s name when we come in. It always feels clean, happy, and efficient!

Tap take-​over by Mad River with a special pairing of Fish and Chips with homemade tartar OR wait for it… Sriracha Pulled Pork Sandwich ! Did I say sweet potatoes tots? As always, the help is always nice.

I had the Chicken bowl, it was delusions. Very healthy too. Large chucks of chicken, peppers, zucchini, artichoke hearts, all with rice. I had the sweet potato fries as a side, highly recommended. We also had the French dip, excellent flavor. Add a beer and make it a perfect meal.

We love their pizza! The sweet and spicy is our favorite. We love half-​price Thursdays, too. We have eaten here many times and will eat here many more.

Great place to have pizza & a beer while watching a game! Their pizza is excellent! The crust is perfect, ingredients are fresh and good quality! Fast friendly service! We ordered siracha lime specialty fries, they were great! had the chipotle chicken and steak & wild mushroom pizzas, they were both delicious! This will definitely be one of our go to places!

Our new favorite place to eat pizza! We love the atmosphere, vibe and service. We get ½ Combo ½ Chicken Chipotle with extra sauce. They also have legit cheese curds (like the ones you would find in Wisconsin)! This has become one of our favorite places for beer, conversation, and pizza.

THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY FOR THE PIZZA. I want to make that clear. With that said… I don’t know why anyone would get pizza from here, especially with MOD next door! The PIZZA was ATROCIOUS, bitter, and disgusting. It was inedible. The garlic that was used for the only sauce on the PIZZA was rancid. Besides that there was way too much of it. They also priced it at a LARGE but the size of the crust ring was huge so really you were getting a SMALL/​MEDIUM and being charged for a large. WAY OVER PRICED also. PIZZA is one of those things you really have to care about to be able to make a quality, good tasting pizza. It’s an art. They need to take pizza off the menu and replace it with something that their «cooks» can better understand and appreciate.
I am fully aware that this could have been an isolated incident but it was also my first time there, my first experience, and it was horrible.

The best place for a beer on that side of town. The pizza has been good every time I’ve been there with my friends, better than MOD in my opinion.
Ultimately, this is the place to go in the mall area.

They don’t do refunds if you «took bites» out of it. So they can serve you bad old pizza but YOU can’t taste it to determine if it’s any good. You just have to know if it’s good or not. By sight and smell I guess.
And if you had not tasted it (& tried to convince yourself it was ok) they would have refunded it? And did what with it?
I’m thinking it’s not a policy… it’s a customer service issue. We went on Sunday, August 30^th around 1:00. Maybe this will help the owner clean house. There are plenty of people who want and need jobs.
(Funny thing is our friend walked up while we sat outside and when we told him he said some of the girls that work there are pretty rude).
If it IS a policy. bad move. A $ 5.00 piece of pizza isn’t worth losing repeat customers. Our family of four ate here often.

Bad Customer Service & Pizza. Save your money. Do not eat here. Ate here 8−30−15 at 1:00pm. The pizza was old and tasted awful. Two people at the table agreed… AWFUL!!!
When I asked the young lady at the counter for a refund, I was rudely told that they do not give refunds if you have taken a bite. How the hell do you know if something is bad unless you taste it.
The Pizza next door at MOD Pizza is ok.
NOTE TO OWNERSHIP: Your downtown location is great. Time to make some employee changes & food quality adjustments at this location.
My family will not be spending our money at this location again.
I’m not sure how much $ it costs to acquire new customers, but it only cost a slice of pizza & a rude employee to lose one.

Really unique new place. Decorated with local beer signs and really cool wood tables and paneling on the walls.
Just as good food and service as their location downtown. A good selection of pizza, wings, sandwiches, and beers.
Cool spot to grab lunch or a quick dinner. Not really a sit down dinner location, but loved it for a fast dinner while my wife and I were running errands in town.
The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere is great.

So I went to the MoD place next door and saw that these guys were here. Two pizza places in one shopping center? Someone did not know how to negotiate their lease!
I ate next door but had to come back here to see what this place was all about. And to my surprise I found a place With good chicken wings!
They also have a do your own fries type thing which is GREAT. I tried the Mac and cheese ones. The fries were reallllly good because they were cut well– not to thick or too thin. They had a good crunch and they were seasoned well. The Mac and cheese was too dry for my taste.
The pizza by the slice was good. The crust was thick and it had flavor. The sauce was seasoned well and the toppings were fresh.
The only downside to this place is that it is a bit pricy. A slice of pizza is 5 dollars (why pay that when you could go next door and get an individual sized pizza for about the same.
Btw they have a good selection of Beer and the cups are cold.

Nice pizza-​like joint feeling. Simple & quaint. Small but chill.

Was empty because they were closing but they were prompt.

It was just a slice and a self-​service coke so not a lot to serve lol.
The pizza was just okay. It wasn’t done great but it is what it is. It had one of those pie centers that wasn’t done right because it had too many bubbles and the cheese fell off and it had pizza pie bubbles instead of pizza… You know what I’m talking about!
The crust was pretty tasty, and and the cheese was a decent thickness, but it was super super super dry. SUPER DRY lol. It was a slice that yes was in the pizza-​slice rack, but it tasted like it had been sitting out since the morning… I’m totally not kidding lol.
I would give it another shot for fresh pizza, but I wouldn’t give it a lot of hope. Especially for the price! Segway here lol.
Value for money:
Surprisingly bad.
$ 5.99 for 1 slice and a small coke? You joking right lol?
They say «well the slices are so big that it’s actually like two slices». Technically that’s true based on the size of the pie, but the size of the pie is very small and there’s so many bubbles around the crust only 60% of the slice of cheese on it. And they’re super small.
So FYI there pizza guy lol, no, it’s not like two slices hahaha. It’s not even 1 lol.
Honestly it’s a rip off here. But I only know one other pizza joint nearby so maybe people think it’s worth it? Maybe? Somehow? LOL
Final thoughts:
Everything was chill except for the price and the pizza. But considering that really is the majority of what you come here for LOL, since it IS a pizza joint hahaha, I’m pretty sure there’s a problem here ha ha.
I will give it another chance just for the sake of being fair, but I don’t know that it’s going to go well. I’m trying to be open but since my first experience was so bad I don’t know how the second one will go.
If they could mitigate the price a little and make the pizza correctly, it would totally be worth the money. But as of right now it’s totally not. (where are the reason you’re getting those large bubbles is because you are making it improperly. This kind of is a crucial thing to learn when your main dish is pizza. Just Google it and I’m sure it’ll get better! :)

Good craft beer food stop. Pizza was perfect– excellent crust. Wings were great– Hubby likes hot. We tried Raspberry Sriracha; next time Volcano for his taste buds. Totchos are always tummy yummy.

My favorite place from west side Redding opened a new location on the east side! So excited. Awesome menu ranging from creative wings to, wraps, sandwiches, artisan pizza, salads, and great appetizers.
8 beers on tap! Pretty good for a small place.
Great friendly service.
Don’t pass it up.
Had the hot pastrami, no mustard, add chipotle sauce, and grilled onions… Perfect.
