Giles Lock & Security

Had an urgent need to have locks rekeyed/​replaced. I called and they were here in half an hour. The man was efficient, pleasant, and quickly fixed my locks. Service was excellent! I now have them on my go-​to list.

Bought a 1983 GMC for my son used with no keys. Guys are out in 100 degrees taking care of business. Making new keys for the doors and ignition. By the way I work nights so I’m sleeping in the morning when it’s cooler. The truck is dark color. You can fry an egg on it.

I had them cut a key for my 2004 Lexus is300. They did a great job. This is not the first time I have used them, and would definitely do business with them again.

Great service! My daughter locked her keys in the car and we needed help. Giles was on site within 10 minutes and we were in the car in 30 seconds. I appreciate the prompt and friendly service. Keep up the good work.

I was desperately in need of help with a lock. The key would work then it would not. So very frustrated I took the lock out and took it to Giles Lock & Security. I was in a rush and ran in and explain what was going on and told them I had to leave and would return in about 30 mins. The nice woman said she would have it done when I got back. Upon return I spoke to Jason and he explained what was happening and said it was an easy fix. I ask what do I owe you and he told me «no charge». In insisted he take something but he did want want my money. I thanked him perfusely. I left feeling thankful and appreciative. On my way out of town I had to go back by there just to let them know how much I appreciated their act of kindness to me. They have left for the day and the employees said they will be back, in the morning. I told them I was on my way home (150 miles away) but I will leave feedback on Unilocal for their generosity toward me. The people at Giles are good people helpful, not in it for the cash only. Thank you again.

I rarely write negative reviews, and to be honest, this business made keys for me in a totally adequate fashion; however, I hurried to get there about 5 minutes before they closed on a rainy Friday evening. I parked right out front (in an area that was not marked as no parking). There was no one else at the store. The gentleman helping me was very pleasant, but someone came out from the back and asked me to move my car (it was not blocking anything!). He was rather nasty about it, but more so, it just served no purpose. So I went out, moved my car into a marked spot, went back in, got my keys which took them about 3 minutes to make, and then left. So glad the gentleman demanded I go move my car in the rain for that 3 minute period of time. Needless to say, I won’t ever go back becasue of that silly little interchange. I am hopeful that this review will remind them that the way they treat people is equally as important as the product they provide.

As good as it gets. I seldom give 5 stars. 4 stars is a perfect score for me. 5 stars means they have 4 strong guys to carry me on their shoulders as we march toward my door lock that needs replacing. Most recently, had a door lock for which I wanted a new key. I tried to get the handles off the door to bring them in. No luck. Took digital pix’s showed them to Steve and Jeff. They cut me a magic key that would just allow the lock cylinder to come out without removing the knobs, etc. Back to Giles. Jason the owner took care of the rest of the job. $ 18 with 4 keys and I was on my way. Before leaving I asked if this magic key for my lock would work on the neighbors. Flash cameras took my picture as they hit the red button. Had to wait a couple hours for the police to arrive. They arrested all of them for witness tampering.
