We love this drive-thru! We live a few blocks from here and often grab a coffee on our way out or on our way home. A lot of the baristas know our faces and very friendly. The coffee is always tasty and they are quite fast — we don’t have to wait long. A few times, I’ve forgotten my cash and they’ve let me come back to pay later, or let me pay whatever I found in my car. It’s nice to feel like a regular.

This little coffee shop drive through is fantastic! I’ve been going there fairly regularly for a cuppa cold brew(New Orleans Style) …but recently I discovered their delicious selection of soup du jour… a daily cup of yummorama! Today I tried the Greek Chick Pea… who knew chick peas could be soo scrumptious? A mighty blend of chickpeas & savory spices… what a great surprise… I also want to give props to the Baristas… who are always fun to have a quick cawfee talk with:) Mahalo to all the folks at From the Hearth:) You make my days as a new mom quite a bit brighter:)!

We stopped in here to get gassed up on our way West on the 299. We drove thru after we got gas and the ladies here are even friendlier than Dutch Brothers, is that even possible? Lol they noticed all of our stuff in the back of the car and asked where we were headed. We got a couple yummies to sustain us. This was the best, the best I tell you, rice crispie treat I ever had! We’re already planning on stopping by on our way back home, tomorrow. Getting some coffee AND another rice crispie treat!

It’s nice to have a place like this to make a quick stop and get a fresh, healthy meal at. Since this is a drive thru, don’t expect the same menu featured at the other From the Hearth cafes in town however. Understandably, they’re not going to be able to make the paninis and hot sandwiches here. I frequently get the chicken curry wrap and though it’s not quite«curry» to me, it’s still good. What I mean by that is, the curry is very light and sweet(reminiscent of chicken curry salads that you often find at delis) rather than heavy and pungent as Indian or Southeast Asian curries are. The addition of raisins really sweetens up this wrap so if you have a «sweet tooth» then I highly recommend it. My one wish is that they’d keep more portabella in stock because I’ve wanted to try their portabella sandwich for such a long time now. It seems you have to get up and out very early to get this sandwich as they’ve been out when I swing by in the early afternoons. By the way, this is the only vegetarian sandwich on their menu so, being hard-to-get, this is quite disappointing to a vegetarian family member.

My favorite drive thru ever! Everyone that works there is so nice and gives a genuine smile along with amazing customer service. I’m in love with all of the soups and their wraps are delish, not to mention the most tasty almost croissants. The coffee is rich and the espresso is on point tripple shot white chocolate breve is my personal favorite… Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The drive through window is in a very convenient location on my way home! Interesting concept, one side is a full service coffee shop, the other is a gas station mini-mart. I’m not a smoker, but the barista informed me that you can purchase cigarettes at the drive through window, which I imagine is very convenient for some people. The carmel white mocha I ordered was decent. I am very picky about espresso, and I’d say the shots were a little under-extracted. I’m sure it would taste fine to most people. It was less sweet then I would have expected for that drink, which I actually prefer. If you like really sweet drinks(dutch bros. style) you might want to ask them to add extra syrup. When I showed up around 11am they were sold out of breakfast sandwiches so I tried the ham & cheese stuffed croissant which was good although it would have been better if it were fresher. Both times I have been there the people at the window were extremely friendly. The guy was making all sorts of jokes. I wasn’t exactly laughing hysterically or anything, but I appreciated the effort!

Holy smokes. Really nice server — yummy sausage biscuit thing, good coffee, clear bathroom… Not what I was expecting but very happy after several days in the backcountry. This is why Unilocal exists!

A quick trip through the drive thru has never been better :) We got an oatmeal, sausage breakfast sandwich(huge sandwich — BTW), and coffee. The employee was very nice and friendly. A great recommendation for a quick breakfast!

I absolutely love going to the From the Hearth Bakery on Pine Street. The coffee is always amazing, better than Starbucks I might add, but more notably is the remarkable customer service you get here. The employees are always courteous, treating their customers with the upmost respect while also providing a positive atmosphere that can’t be matched by any other coffee competitor. I honestly love going here because of the genuine nature of the employees. I’ve never felt uncomfortable or bombarded by hollow dialogue while waiting for my coffee. Frankly, I despise giving up the best kept secret in Redding but I have to stay true and give credit where credit is due. Great job ladies and gents! You make rolling out of bed well worth it!

I recently started eating here like 5 times a day. Good food, fast(avoid rush hour), nice baristas. The regular coffee is the best in Redding. I also recommend the Purple Orchid smoothie, a breakfast sandwich, and an Umpqua oatmeal. The grab-and-go sandwiches are perfect for lunch.

Hella ditzy, but infectiously perky. She got our order right eventually and everyone was all smiles in the end, but it wasn’t quick or easy. Ultimately, I’m not convinced that the drive thru is any faster or easier than walking into either of the two«real» stores. And if you have a choice of those, pick the Churn Creek one.

I hope this drive thru doesn’t go away — it’s the only place within walking distance from the Shasta Regional Hospital where you can get fresh well prepared salads, scrumptious pastries, and good roasted coffee. Prices are reasonable and the two girls that usually run the place are geniunely friendly without coming off as artificially perky. They have also perfected the art of cinnamon rolls. Their frosting has this buttery soft texture and tastes more like cream cheese, not like some overly sweet sugar concoction. The texture of all their breads and pastries are never too dry either which is why I like stopping by in the morning or for lunch to pick up a salad or sandwich. They have an indoor walk up counter as well so its easy for pedestrians to walk up to. They use good coffee beans, it doesn’t taste heavy and metallic like Starbucks or Dutch Bros.
