I have a beard, and am admittedly a hippie at heart. I was extremely discriminated against and after too many annoying and probing questions, I told the employee that she was making me feel uncomfortable. She said I made her feel uncomfortable too, and I said «I’m going to leave». Really not a nice welcome, I would say avoid this store unless you are comfortable discriminating against people based on their looks.

Very poor customer service, and we will never return! My husband has been shopping at Dandelion purchasing Brighton gifts for me for years. I am spoiled because he usually spends a lot! Today we went in to do an exchange (with the receipt, but past 30 days), not expecting cash back, just an even exchange of product. Our requested exchange was denied and the crabby sales lady pretty much called me a liar. She said the tag on the sunglasses had makeup on it and she was not able to sell it again as new. I told her I tried them on but they were never worn, which was absolutely the truth. (The makeup could have been from anyone trying on the glasses, and she certainly could’ve put on a new tag.)
As a business owner myself, I understand the value of a happy customer. She clearly does not. I would expect more from a store that sells very high end product. Too bad for Dandelion, because my husband really liked the convenience of the Redding store for holiday shopping. Good for me, there is a store in Chico that sells Brighton.

I’ve been shopping at Dandelion since I moved from So. Cal. to Redding a year ago. I was sad to leave my favorite beach boutique after many years of personalized service, stylish clothes, AND Brighton purses and jewelry. I felt the store had been transported when I walked into Dandelion. And now they’ve added Holly Yashi jewelry. It doesn’t get any better than this! Great quality and stylish clothes, friendly and helpful staff, delightful atmosphere, and a trip there NEVER disappoints! I’m so pleased there is such a quality store in Redding. They have a terrific selection of Brighton Purses and jewelry, and if it’s not on the shelf, they will order it from their catalog! Wonderful gifts in all price ranges, and their Christmas trees full of treasures are really something to look forward to every year. IT’S MY FAVORITE PLACE TO SHOP IN REDDING!

I just love this store! A nice selection of clothing, assesories and gifting items. The owner is a sweet heart and the staff is friendly and helpful.

My mom and I come here annually to buy their holiday decorations and we love it! The ladies are always super friendly and they have the cutest most unique items! Great store! They have great sales on the stuff after the holidays as well! :)

Very nice little boutique in downtown Redding. They carry women’s clothing, and lots of great accessories. They have a large selection of ‘Brighton’ jewelry and have lots of cute gift items like candles and ‘Tokyo Milk ‘products. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great people, great selection. They have unusual, neat items you won’t find in other boutiques or certainly in dept stores. Reasonable prices and very helpful people. I very-​often buy my wife’s gifts there.

Dandelion offers a nice selection of upscale clothes, jewelry and accessories. I did find a lot of items that I would have liked to purchase, however, the retail price on most was very high. Your best bet is the clearance rack (all sales final, though!) where you’ll find a great deal and huge markdowns. I found an adorable Karen Kane tank that was regularly priced at $ 75 but was on clearance for $ 24. A courteous and helpful staff are more than happy to assist. I also loved the interior design — a very nice change from the big-​box clothing stores around here. I will definitely be back to peruse the clearance items!
