Bloomingnails

So incredibly bummed with my pedicure. But I am reasonable and can’t write the place off completely, since the girls are all independent contractors working for themselves — and they all have different skill sets. (Although, I’d like to assume that the owner would make sure that her renters had the necessary skills before contracting out to them to prevent giving their shop a bad name…) I just won’t be back unless I know who is doing my service.
I really don’t like having to write poor reviews. I am not difficult to please. I am an understanding person. My biggest pedi peeve is a nail tech who need to sharpen their painting skills. That’s the most important part! That’s what everyone sees. I had an inner heart attack when I had to pay $ 40 for this when I usually just do it myself with better quality work. When she kept slowly going over the same nail 20 times with a dry brush, I suggested she put some more paint on the brush (hey I went to nail school once upon a time…) and she said that she’d just keep trying it until it did what she wanted. So now I’m stuck with these streaky eyesores. :(

Such great service at the last minute. Beth gave me the cutest pedicure and my friend Kendall got a manicure and the girl who did hers did a fantastic job! I recommend Bloomingnails to anyone who wants to get their nails done. They were very accommodating at such a short notice.

This place is clean and the techs are nice, easy conversation when they engage with you. I got a basic pedicure and I was not disappointed. I would like to go back to try some nail art and after reading the reviews have Audrey do my manicure.

Wow! I was just passing through Redding and needed an acrylic fill. Got in touch with Audrey at Bloomingnails. Was I lucky! She did an outstanding job and loves to do nail design. I would highly recommend to locals to give her a try. You won’t be disappointed. Plus, she is very nice and fun to talk to!

It’s been a while since Bloomingnails has gotten a review. I have worked as a nail tech in this salon since the end of February 2015, and it is by far the best experience I’ve had in the beauty industry. Everybody is thoughtful, and helps both clients and other techs as much and as often as possible. Everyone is on the same page as far as handling and distributing walkins, and they’re all very accommodating when somebody is running behind and has a client waiting. If you’re looking for a salon where you feel welcome, this is the place to go. There’s nail techs here 6 days a week, and most of us are here and able to take walkins after 5pm. Just give the shop a call, and we will get you scheduled in, or walkin, and we will figure something out with you! Oh yeah, and we have FOUR spa pedicure stations if you and a few friends wanted to come in for a relaxation hour…

HORRIBLE experience! 5 of us went to Bloomingnails a day before my sister-in-law’s wedding and all of us had bad experiences. The place is filthy. They only had two people scheduled to work on the five of us and one of them showed up 20 minutes late. They kept the bride soaking in the pedicure tub for an hour while they worked on other peoples’ nails. The owner had her son there and was being a horrible, cranky mom and making threats at him. My gel manicure lasted three days (supposed to last three weeks!); when I went in the day after the wedding to have the rest of them taken off, the owner didn’t offer to fix them or give me a refund, just acted annoyed that I was there. DO NOT GO HERE!

Such a wonderful nail shop! All the girls are so attentive! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time and a beautiful set of nails!

The owner April does my nails. I have never been so happy with my nail tech before! She gets the shape and style right every time! The salon itself is nice, professional and inviting! All the girls are nice and greet me when I arrive! Give blooming nails a chance! You won’t regret it!

My friend and I went here for manicures for the first time. We had a heck of a time finding a place that would do a pink & white gel manicure for her. I’m sure there are places in Redding, but all the ones I called said they didn’t do those. Anyhow, Bloomingnails gave her what she wanted and she was happy with it! I got a simple manicure from Renee, and she did a great job. I’m tough on my manicures and it still looks nice. I will go back!
