Came in with a bad rear dérailleur cable after limping along on my daily commute to work this morning. Randy was superb, knowledgeable and friendly. Was out the door in minutes despite being the day before Memorial Day weekend. My bike is like new again!
I will be using Bikes Etc for all my repairs, purchases and gear from now on!

This bike shop has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the Cottonwood area, my Mom would take me on single track rides all over Shasta/​Tehama on our mountain bikes. She began «hangin out» with a great dude that worked there years ago and he asked how I felt about riding a BMX bike. He couldn’t have been more dead-​on! Been riding BMX now for 15yrs all because of one of their employees. Randy is also very friendly, even when he might be having a bad day, his customers come first. Plenty of great memories kickin it in the back with Dale, Scoma, Noël, and anyone I forgot. Customer for life and whenever Im in the area, I always pop in to catch up.

Best bike shop in Redding. Wonderful selection and if Randy doesn’t have it he can get it. Staff in general was very friendly and all about bikes! The rest of the bike shops in Redding cold really benefit if they would revamp their customer service practices to be more like Randys. Bikes Etc. will be getting all my business from here on!

When I arrived in town I went bike shop shopping and hit every shop. Bikes Etc had the best service and customer care of al of them. I bought my first big mountain bike from them and go back for all my repairs and other purchases. Great owner and personal service, the way every shop should be!

I have been going to Bikes etc. Since Al and Randy first opened there doors in 1985, I have made several bicycle purchases from them and have always taken any bike back for repairs or just general maintenance. Even after Al sold off Valley Cycle, And then sold Bikes etc. to Randy. 100% Quality and Service, I always recommend Bikes etc. to any one.

These guys are very friendly and knowledgeable. I’m a big guy and wanted a bike that would be good quality, comfortable and affordable. They didn’t try to pressure me into buying anything that I didn’t want. They made recommendations and I picked what I wanted. Great customer service and quality of work is outstanding. They set me up with everything I needed. If they don’t have it in stock, just ask and they’ll get it in for you. I try to give my money to the local guys. Small shop, great results. Would highly recommend! Thanks Randy and Dale. I love my Raleigh 29er.

Just dropped in today since I’m new to Redding. Had a great experience. The guys that work there are really friendly and helpful. Dale filled the tires on my mountain bike, and adjusted my seat my seat free of charge. He also gave me some good advice on how to convert my bike with road tires rather than purchasing an entirely new road bike. I will definitely go back and give this place my bike business!

I had Bikes Etc literally rebuild my Diamond Back Curaca over a period of time. I opted to replace components vs getting a new bike because the frame was designed to hold my weight.
The staff at Bikes Etc did some superb work and I also had them do some custom wheels for me with tension spokes because I wanted a design which would enable me to ride longer without necessarily breaking down.
Just wanted to let the staff know that I’m still riding that bike now in the Reno, NV area and enjoying the new terrain.
