Asian Rose Massage

This place was decent. I called three other places to check prices and availability and this is comparable for the area. The funny thing is I called and no one answered the phone so I left a message with no call back so I just showed up and they were able to take me in right away. But… unlike most Asian places, they tried to push me for thirty minutes but I wanted an hour so they agreed. Then I asked if they had ninety minutes available and I was told no. Usually at the other Asian places I go to they are trying to push you for more time. I guess it’s different here in Redding. Shrug.
I checked-​in on Unilocal and got the 10% off. Yay! The massage was alright. Not the best and not the worst – I would rank it toward the better side except she kept resting her palm on my back and arm and I hate that because it’s unnecessary bad pressure. Otherwise quite decent. Oh, the other thing that annoyed me was asking for payment upfront. Maybe that is the norm here but I am not used to that. That’s why I docked a star.
I wouldn’t mind going again if I was in the area again:)

Overall a good massage. Great ambiance, and careful masseuse. Downside is that they don’t take credit cards, and be prepared for an odd question at the end ;-)
