My Family loves this place! Best Greek food in Redding hands down. They are consistent, friendly, and the food is always hot and delicious. Please go and support this place, we want them to stay in business!!!

Known as a delicious gem with great prices by the regular customers, Anthony’s delivers on both hands down. The lamb gyro plate was packed with tender meat. Love this place.

What a delicious addition to the Redding menu. I had the lamb kabob and savored every last perfectly-cooked bite. I can’t wait to return to try other items. The staff is friendly and eager to please. It takes awhile to cook to order, so I’m going to try the«Leapset» app they offer so I can order ahead of my arrival. I hope this restaurant lasts much longer than the others who’ve tried this spot.

Redding isn’t known for great dining choices(unless you lean toward the chains, then there’s about one of everything) but the city does have several really good eateries(and a lot of mediocre ones), and this is definitely a fantastic find. The lamb gyro was delicious, especially with the sauces and fresh and cool produce. Looking forward to having lunch here again when passing through Redding so I can work my way around the menu.

My new go-to in Redding. The lamb gyro wraps and plates are amazing! If you order the hummus, I recommend asking for the soft bread. The pita bread isn’t good, in my opinion.

The place is clean and the staff is welcoming but the food is just mediocre. Lamb in the lamb place is tasteless, fatty and hard to chew on. Disappointing.

Good gyros & fatoush in Redding? Yes — an immensely better alternative to the usual fare. Not far off I-5 and worth the drive. Check it out!

Food is very good. Pulled off I5, well worth the 10 minute drive. I had the lamb gyro and my wife had the chicken gyro. Both were excellent. Owner was giving out samples of a soup they were thinking of putting on the menu. It was good but not the normal American taste. Glad to see the care given.

Recently, I tried some other menu items that I’d been meaning to try for awhile — the Turkish coffee and spinach pie. If you’re looking for some strong coffee, you’ll probably find this coffee very pleasing. The spinach pie is tasty but should be enjoyed A.S.A.P. because the dough becomes more chewy(rather than crisp and flaky) before long — as I discovered after bringing everything home. Next time I’ll have to dine in and enjoy it. The service was great! The person at the counter this afternoon gave me a double on the coffee even though it was supposed to be a single(as I was taking it home in a large cup and he was being generous as to just fill up that cup a bit more). I’d also say that the price for these items($ 2.99 for the spinach pie and $ 1.99 for the coffee) is fair.

I want to give this place 3 stars because of the falafel. It was that bad. Bland, nearly cold, and crumbly? I was very disappointed. Good falafel is cheap to make, so I don’t get it. Anyway, the hummus was good, and the babaganoush was tasty. My buddy had a lamb dish which was yummy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’ll go back, but not for the falafel.

My wife and I have gotten the lamb gyros, falafels, greek salad and fatoush salad. I gotta say the lamb gyros are fantastic and mighty tasty. It’s basically what you’d expect from an authentic lamb gyro. If you’ve been to Europe you’ve seen«Doner Kebab» all over the place, mostly in Germany, which has a large Turkish immigrant population. It’s basically the burrito or deli sandwich for like a billion people on the planet. The Gyros are 5 star for sure. The salads are great too and everything is reasonably priced. I’m looking to try the manakeesh next time. The reason I’m docking a star is for is the falafel. Sorry Anthony, I really dig your other food and I will be coming back, but you need to up your falafel game, homie. Other than that everything is awesome.

Tried the Greek salad, hummus, and chicken gyro to go. Hummus and fresh pita was delicious! Greek salad was probably the best salad I’ve ever had! On the fence about the gyro, but I’ll be back to try that again! Staff was super nice and helpful!

When I walked in the door at 4 pm there were 3 or 4 employees working behind the counter. No one said anything to me. I sat down near the counter, no one said anything to me. After a few minutes as they got a couple togo orders out, I walked up to the order counter. I requested my togo order which had been called in 25 minutes earlier, and scheduled to be ready in 30 minutes after my call. I wanted it hot. I was told they were out of the spinach pie I had ordered. I ordered the eggplant dish instead. When I got home, my order was cold. I live 10 minutes away. My guess is that with some training and effort, they might learn to acknowledge a customer when he or she enters their small business. I got the cold shoulder instead. I also think they can probably get the food hot for a togo order. Next time we’ll see. Food was not bad. Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. We had the lamb gyro wrap and lamb gyro plate(don’t know the exact name on the menu) and we found both good but not mouthwatering crazy delicious. Expecting a wrap I was surprised it was quite small, more like one full taco, it was enough for me as a girl though. The gyros plate was 5 $ more but only had a spoon of salat, hummus and some bread extra to the«wrap». The baklava was disappointing to me. It is really expensive for just one 1.5 inch piece and really dry. BUT: staff very friendly, restaurant very clean and all in all a good fast food alternative.

Tried Anthony’s today and we were not disappointed ! Had the Kabob Combo plate, Lamb Gyro plate, Babagonouj, haahouri manakeesh and the Falafels — everything was delicious !! We love Xander’s and the Greek Shack, but it was nice to sit inside during the heat of the day. Staff was super nice!

First, I should express my excitement about a quality Mediterranean restaurant opening up on the west side of town. I LOVE Mediterranean food but I never wanted to drive to enterprise to get it and then not even be able to sit down and enjoy it. So basically, my food prayers have been answered! I had the lamb gyro and it was great! I ordered some baklava on my way out. Omg so so good! I enjoyed the atmosphere and the Greek or maybe Turkish style music. I do not have one bad thing to say about this place. Clean, friendly staff, great selection of main dishes, sides and dessert. I’m planning my next meal there already.

I lived in New York’s Bayside Queens area. If you are familiar with that area, you will know that we have the best Greek Diners there! I mean the best! Anthony’s Mediterranean feels like it belongs in New York… It’s not only delicious, but the owner is super friendly and is really wanting to make everyone happy! This food should be twice the price in fancier restaurants, but lucky for us, it’s a casual place, therefor, we get to save! Yay!!!

Food was great. Service was good. I am a huge Xander’s fan so when this came in I had to try it out… The only recommendation I would make is to have the option of getting kabobs without the rice and salad plate. The option for only kabobs at a lower price then the platter price. All in all great addition to Redding.
