My husband and I came to Red River for a little getaway from life’s realities for a bit and this was just perfect for an overnight stay. The owners were very friendly and located in a prime area of town. It was a clean and cozy room. The beds were not very comfortable but all in all a nice place to stay.

My family has been staying at Three Bears Lodge for the past 6 – 7 years and have always told me how much fun they have when they stay. A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I tagged a long with my family and stayed at Three Bears for the week. The staff is fantastic, accommodating, and very friendly! My girlfriend and I stayed in an efficiency(#10 I believe) that backed up right to the Copper lift. The efficiency was very cozy and a great place to kick off the boots after a long day of snowboarding. One of the nights we were there, Three Bears had Smores Night and it was AMAZING. I will always stay at Three Bears anytime I am in Red River.

Very nice accommodations right next to the best and least busy lift. Right across the street from great dining. The ducks and deer roaming around added to the wildlife experience. I loved the SMORE night. The wood burning iron stove was an excellent touch. I hope the prices this ski season are in par with last year’s great rates!

Love, love, love this place. It’s my favorite place to stay in Red River. The owners, Chris and Debbie, make you feel like you’re part of the family, and the cabins are always comfortable and clean. They’re nothing fancy — if you’re looking for plush, stay in whatever city you hail from. These are historic cabins that have been refurbished with new beds, flat screen televisions and a great rug or two, but you still feel like you’re actually in the mountains. I’m always incredibly sad when I call and they’re booked for the weekend I plan to be in Red River, but what can you expect from owners who have created a very loyal following? As an added bonus, there’s an every-night gathering about the firepit in Chris and Debbie’s backyard for a glass of wine and lots of conversation with your fellow travelers as well as the owners. I’ve stood around that fire in knee deep snow and during a sunset in the summertime. So, yeah, like I said, love, love, love this place. Try it and see if you don’t become one of those loyal guys who’s always taking my room.. .
