Air Elite is a team of professional dunkers based in Atlanta, GA. I’ve been following these guys for years and they are awesome. They’ve dunked everywhere and by everywhere, I mean: — NBA All-Star Weekend(most recently, 2014 in New Orleans) — NBA regular season and playoff games — College basketball games(all NCAA divisions) — College basketball events(e.g. Midnight Madness) — Africa, China, and South Korea(including a live TV show) — Birthday parties Yes, even birthday parties. One birthday party they dunked at, an NBA player made a planned appearance. That must have been some birthday party. If I was a kid and that was my birthday party, my head would have exploded. I’ve personally seen Air Elite at many Georgia Tech basketball games(McCamish Pavilion), Georgia Tech HoopsFest(Tech’s preseason team meet-and-greet), and Atlanta Hawks games(Philips Arena). At Tech games, they are introduced to the fans as Air Elite. At NBA games, they may work under the NBA teams’ brand names, such as the Atlanta Hawks’ «Sky Squad.» Regardless, their shows are always spectacular. They’re incredibly athletic and their dunking ability is uncanny. They launch off of trampolines, so they’re in the air very high and get some major hang time. They flip, rotate, and pass the ball every which way before slamming it home. They also perform tandem dunks where every dunker participates by passing the ball«back» until it reaches the last dunker who jams it in. They are very motivated, positive, and high energy. They do a great job of hyping up the crowd and getting fans involved. One of their shows is a dunk-off, where they try to one-up each other in dunks. The fans decide which dunks they like the best by making noise. It’s a genuine dunk-off. You can tell they’re trying hard to out-do one another. No gym is too big or too small for these guys. They’ve dunked in almost every NBA arena, from Staples Center to Madison Square Garden. They’ve also dunked in the Millis Center(High Point University) in my hometown of High Point, NC. If you’re looking for a good show, you won’t be disappointed. If the NBA is willing to hire Air Elite for All-Star Weekend, you know they’re good.
