This place is called Creative Hair by Valarie now. I have been having Valarie (the owner) cut my hair for a while now and highly recommend her. The first time I went in I had no idea what I wanted and had a bunch of different pictures and had also had a recent bad haircut experience and she was very helpful and patient and was able to help me figure out what I wanted and what would work for my specific hair type and the level of work I wanted to put into styling it (not a lot). She has also been helping me grow my hair out from being very short, which is difficult with big wavy hair like mine — and it actually looks good at this awkward medium length so I am very pleased. They are also VERY reasonable with pricing, I have payed $ 20-​$ 25 for a cut, depending on how long it takes and if I have my hair washed (may be more for longer hair, I’m not sure, but still reasonable). I have payed $ 60 and more for haircuts in this area that I didn’t like as much.

One of the best haircuts I ever got! The woman who owns it (sorry I forgot your name), cut my hair herself. She was very helpful, gave me suggestions and even told me how to make my haircut better. It wasn’t expensive at all either (about $ 25 for a shampoo, cut and style). I also like that it’s right in the center of town-​perfect location! I will definitely be back here.
