Probably the best peach pie I have ever had! And the size of one slice is about the size of two normal sized pieces. The service was also very kind and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant

I am new to the Red Bluff area… so I used Unilocal to find a good breakfast spot. This is the BEST in Red Bluff, and cheap too!!! I usually get the two eggs over easy with bacon sourdough toast, OJ and their french toast. It always comes out perfectly! The service is always friendly and prompt. Everything on their menu for breakfast is good, you can’t go wrong. DEFINITELY try this place out, you can’t go wrong!

I wish they knew how to cook eggs. When I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, I asked for my eggs over medium. They were barely over easy; the runniest eggs I’ve ever seen. When I complained about it the waitress just told me, «next time let me know». Well, there probably won’t be a next time. I’m not a local so next time I’ll try somewhere else. The rest of my meal was good. I especially liked the country spuds. The gravy on the country fried steak was a little bland. The service was also good

Well, the third time was the charm. It has been at least 9 months since I have eaten here. The last two times I was here, the meals lackluster at best. Today’s sandwich combination actually I can praise. I had the club sandwich with onion rings and it was a very tasty lunch. I asked for my bacon crisp which I received, and the onion rings we’re incredible. My only complaint with the sandwich was all the meat was piled in the middle of the sandwich so my first bite was excellent and everything else was just bread and lettuce. But the flavors were there, which was a lot more than I can say for my past experiences eating here. The last sandwich I had was a prime rib french dip, with au jus and french fries. The French fries were great, unfortunately the meat was grey and microwaved and au jus watery and lackluster. So, the four stars is a great improvement of what I would have reviewed before. Did I mention the onion rings were excellent.

Great customer service and food. Too much food at some point but enough to get everyone full and back on the road. Friendly staff. Busy place. Get there early.

Locals eat here to enjoy a delicious hearty breakfast, etc at a fair price. Located in cute, historic old town Red Bluff near the beautiful Cone Kimball tower. For a big, special breakfast I like steak and eggs –real meat! For a light breakfast, the T.H.E. is perfect(toast, hashbrowns, eggs). The omelets are fantastic too. Stretch your legs by walking along main to the cute shops that still wrap your gifts for you(Plum Crazy, Enjoy the Store, etc).

This is a Gem in the north, if you are passing through stop in, breakfast was fabulous everything was delicious, we had a Western Omelet, French Toast, country potatoes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, and hot coco. The topper though for me was the cinnamon roll, OMG it is to die for. Smothered in frosting, heated with a bit of butter on top. Not for the faint or I’ll at heart but man was it delicious. The service was very good, could not ask for anything more out of the staff. For a small Northern California town to have such a gem was great to find we stay at the RV park near by on the way through town or just to get away. I do not give 5 stars lightly, this place deserved it.

My kind of place. Any restaurant that opens at 5:30 am on Sunday has some serious local support. My goto place on trips to Lassen.

Conveniently located on our way to Lassen Volcanic National Park, we’ve stopped at Tremont Café to grab food to go before getting into the park and hitting the trails! This café offers a nice selection of options(including breakfast burritos, pancakes, sandwiches and salads). You can ask for your own toppings if you would like. Sides includes French fries, onion rings, potato tots. Portions are generous which is great if you are looking for a meal to get you all set for the rest of your day! We stopped here on a Saturday night around 10am and it was buzzing which is usually a good sign :-) The staff is very friendly. There is free wifi here. Will definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip in this area!

Scoped this place out on Unilocal then stopped here on our road trip back home from Pleasanton, CA. Can’t speak for their lunch but breakfast was great. We had The Tremont(bacon & eggs) the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast Burrito and split 1 pancake. All three plates were amazing! Service was fast and friendly. I thought $ 25 for breakfast for 2 was very reasonable. If your in the Red Bluff area or just passing through around breakfast, stop by!

Nothing you could pin down from Name and location. Is it hoity toity as the name implies? Is it nasty microwave fast food as the location suggests? None of the above. You probably are going to be served by one of the owners, their family or any excellent server. You will have a full menu with wonderfully made and tasty food and you won’t go broke. Great place at a great price to grab a bite at any time for any occasion.

We ate there 2 times in a week and drove down from Redding. The Tremont has the best salad bar around and their salads and sandwiches are wonderful, especially the French Dip. Also the homemade cheesecake, pies and cakes. The servers are very friendly and really make your dining experience fun. We live in Puerto Rico and hope to eat at the Tremont again before leaving the area.

Me and my husband came here for lunch. This restaurant is located in downtown red bluff. There is street parking along with a small parking lot nearby. When we walked in, I noticed there was a sign to seat yourself. A few minutes later, a waitress have us menus. There was breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. I ordered the club sandwich with tater tots. My husband got the burger with fries. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our food. My club sandwich was ok. I really enjoyed the crispy bacon. The turkey meat reminded me of packaged deli meat. I was hoping the turkey meat was freshly made at the restaurant. The tater tots was good and crispy. My husband found his burger to be ok. The cheese was not melted at all. He ordered medium rate, but got well done instead. Overall, food is ok. Service was good.

Driving down interstate 5 in need of food near Red Bluff and the Unilocal reviews direct me here. Thank you Unilocalers for helping me find this place! The food was very good. I’m not talking gourmet good but rather very good diner food good. If the tater tots, onion rings and French fries weren’t all scratch made, they sure fooled me. Perfectly deep fried, nothing was drenched in grease. I had the French dip. It has a good amount of beef and tasted exactly how I expected it to. My dad had the BLT. Holy heck of bacon. They did not skimp on the bacon. Now, for the entire reason for my review, my mom had a patty melt… on GLUTENFREE bread. She said it was amazing. When traveling she is limited and realizing that they could make ANY sandwich with gluten free bread really made her day!!! Next time I’m in this area, I will need to come here again. Oh, and they serve the breakfast menu until 3pm. There was a kid next to me that got a pancake that was as big as her head. It looked delicious.
