Scary place. We paid a night, but moved out to the comfort inn after 10mins in the room. Motel can be used as a filming location for movie trillers.

I would give it zero stars if I could. Where do I even start. Checked in at 330 in the morning to be surprised with an additional 20 $ pet fee. When I got to the room it was nasty. Dead bugs and flies everywhere. Candy wrappers on desk. No vacuumed well at all. They use two stained flat sheets in place of the fitted one on the bed… But don’t dare look close because u will find other people hair stains and cigarette burns… Lift up the stained matters pad cover to see tears and more mysterious… you guessed it… STAINS. Towels were NASTY… didnt know if they had even been laundered. The mini fridge was louder than a chainsaw when u turn it to cold. No extra amenities at all. They saw its per friendly but they only have a cement lot for them to pee. Beyond disappointed instantly. And went to see if I could check out and get a refund… which I was refused. So I sucked it up and dealt with the bed bugs… Which I swear I felt crawling all over me. Worst hotel experience ever.

Beware! We booked a room here because it was pet friendly and close to a city dog park. When we got there about 6:00 pm, the only car in the parking lot was the owner’s. Even so, the owner wouldn’t let us park in their lot because we were towing a trailer and told us to park in the vacant lot next door. In that lot were panhandlers and homeless people and trash and used needles everywhere. The room was well worn and hodge-podge furnishings, the carpet had bleach stains, but was clean on the surface. We didn’t pull back the bedspread. If we had stayed we would have slept on top of the bedspread with our own pillows and blankets. What really made us uneasy was the amount of residents(without a car in the lot) that stepped out of their rooms when we opened the door to ours. Suspicious looking characters that wouldn’t be staying at a Best Western. We quickly decided to change motels. We were in the room at most 5 minutes but the owner refused to give us any refund. All he offered was to move his car so we could park in his pull-through space. This is a weekly/monthly very low quality motel trying to disguise itself as suitable for travelers.

Really a 1 – 2 star motel, but is rated highly on other sites compared to the other places of similar caliber. So I’m guessing the other motels are disgusting and scary. This one is definitely not nice, but not terrifying. Unless you are terrified of bugs. The door to the room was covered in cobwebs and a billion little gnats. I guess no one has been in here in awhile. There was only one or two little bugs flying around inside, so that was swell. Free parking. The room has a TV, microwave, fridge, A/C, and free wifi. Showerhead had good pressure, but angled strangely so I give the shower 2 out of 3 stars. Close to downtown Red Bluff. Front desk guy was nice. I paid $ 50 via a third party site, but I think you can get it lower.

Had a similar experience as a previous reviewer. Called earlier in the day to make sure the help desk was open 24 hrs and said I’d be arriving really late. Arrived at 2:30AM and rang doorbell and called the office and waited around for 10min, then had to go find another hotel in the middle of the night. i had a reservation and now have to process an Expedia claim for a refund at a motel that doesn’t man their office and left me hotel-less at 2:30AM. In a word, lame.

One really, really bad experience equals one bad review. I booked a room here on Priceline. When the husband and I pulled in the to parking lot around 10pm, the lot was empty save for two cars. There were two guys that kept coming in and out of one of the rooms and getting stuff from their car. That was the only –insert shady– activity. The check-in desk room was locked with a sign«ring bell for service.» I rang, waited, rang, wait, called the listed number, no answer, rang, waited, for an hour. I called the«Negotiator’s» customer service, they called Classic Inn, no answer either. Priceline refunded me, but at this point, exhausted from driving all day and hella hangry, we had to get a last minute room. Luckily, the husband found a room at the Comfort Inn in town and has now become a Comfort Inn glory fan. End of story. Pass on the Classic, rely on the Comfort.

We stayed here in December 2013 for one night. After reading reviews, we brought extention cords for our cell phones, ect. Was great price, clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Was quiet. it had a Microwave & refridge. We set the clock on the microwave, for the room had no clock. No elevator. We will stay here again when just passing through. it’s a no-frills room.
