The 5 stars are definitely for the excellent customer service from beginning to end of my shopping experience. You are always warmly greeted, the right amount of help during and pleasantries at the register and upon leaving. It’s been consistent on every one of my visits. Love the selection, style, atmosphere of the store. I agree that the prices are quite steep and not always in line with the quality of the clothes but that’s something to be addressed directly to corporate and the powers that be. The service in every Anthropologie I’ve visited, Montclair and North Brunswick, has been awesome. Shrewsbury location is my favorite one.

Why I will never buy any clothing items from Anthropologie again: Sadly, every fabric item I have ever bought has been extremely poor quality. I bought one of the quilts a few years ago, and after having it for about a month, I discovered holes in it! I examined the stitching and saw that a very basic, loose stitch was keeping the squares of (extremely thin) fabric together. I was shocked that sleeping and sitting on my bed could ruin a quilt. Another example: I bought a flannel button down shirt that I absolutely LOVED. After only two washes, I discovered a three inch tear/​wearing away of the fabric near the seam. I had purchased the appropriate size, so it wasn’t a case of trying to squeeze myself into the shirt. For the prices they charge, I expect their products to be better quality. This is one of those companies that charges ridiculous prices for the atmosphere of their stores and reputation of their brand.

Beautiful items but pricey. Sales are not that great and if they are, there are no «average» sizes. The staff is extremely pleasant.

Big fan of Anthropologie. Not so much of their prices, but that’s never stopped me from dropping some serious cash when I see something I want. Anyway, this is my favorite location. The staff are friendly and not pushy, but very good at assisting in putting together looks.

This place is huge and the dressing room is insane. Insane in a good way though… love love love the spacious dressing room, the wooden benches and the chandelier that’s made out recycled items (plastic bags, plastic, clothing, and etc!).
This store is bigger than the ones in the city and I love the fact, they have stuff here that’s already sold out in NY.
