Polonski Tree Service

We used Polonski Tree to remove a handful of dead maple branches hanging over our driveway and my neighbors fence. They were very reasonable, responsive and went above and beyond for us. They also did a fantastic clean-​up afterwards. I will be calling them the next time I need tree work.

We have used Polonski Tree Services quite a few times and have found them courteous, prompt, efficient and reasonably priced. In a previous storm a huge branch from our Oak tree came down. After receiving several quotes, they were quite competitive and were prompt in cutting up and removing this branch that took up quite a bit of the yard. We are quite pleased with their work. We also were inundated with these bugs that were destroying my trees. They came out to spray and as a result saved my trees. I highly recommend this company for any tree service you might need.

I have worked with Polonski Tree Service for years and they have always done a wonderful job. Mr. Polonski does all the FREE estimates himself. He always seems to find a way to get over to my home quickly and is always willing to go out of his way to work with my hectic shedule (last time he came to my house at 7:00pm to give me an estimate because it was the only time I had available). The job was done very quickly and my trees and shrubs looked great.

Not a happy camper here. I purchased a $ 100 Living Social coupon for $ 200 worth of tree services. The owner came here (without letting me know he was coming, or I would have been on-​hand to talk to him) and left a proposal for over $ 7,000 worth of work. I am not quibbling with the fact that all of the work he proposed should be done (like removing a rotten tree), but I do not have $ 7K for tree work now! When I explained that I wanted some low branches lopped off a tree – and that I wanted just $ 200 worth of work done – he first stated again that I needed $ 8K of work and then basically told me he wasn’t going to come out here to do $ 200 worth of work. At one point, he offered to spray the house for insects for $ 360, but that’s not what I wanted. I feel his Living Social deal should have let people know that they would have to sign up for more than $ 200 worth of work in order to redeem the deal. I cannot get my coupon refunded because it has been more than 5 days (it took Polonski Tree Services longer than that to get back to me). So I’ve got a $ 100 credit with Living Social, but that’s not what I wanted – or can afford at this time.
