This is by far this best Health Food store around. The staff is friendly and can help with any problem you might have! I’ve been shopping here for years and it just keeps getting better!

If you have used a probiotic(I call it acidophilus) since 1960, you probably buy it from a store with a refrigerator. I take it 3 times a day when taking an antibiotic, then once a day until the bottle is empty; then I buy another from Nature’s Garden. Same thing goes for Barlean’s Omega-3 Fish Oil. The last thing you need is fishy tasting Lemon Zest… like you’d get if it sat in a truck at Walmart for three days at 140° F. Dr. Michael Murray’s Multistart Men’s Tablets keep my sluggish thyroid working. I tried several other thyroid products and always came back to the product recommended at Nature’s Garden. I go to them whenever I need advice. Got my first Birkenstocks at Nature’s Garden too; professionally fit. I have long toes and have a hard-to-fit foot. Bravo Nature’s Garden.

This place is pretty nice for natural products, supplies, homeopathic medicines, vitamins, clothing, and natural beauty supplies. I go to Kimberton Whole Foods A LOT, so I’m going to compare the two places. As far as groceries, I feel like Kimberton has more of a variety of whole foods, produce, and food brand varieties. Nature’s Garden has more snacking supplies and beauty/clothing supplies. I wish Nature’s Garden had more of a variety of actual vegan/natural/organic foods, but I feel like it’s more for medicines, vitamins, and goods. If you’re looking to shop for food, I would suggest Kimberton. If you’re looking for natural GOODS, go to Nature’s Garden!

Very pricey, knowledgeable staff, clean, decent selection. They need to work on their people skills.

Great base of knowledge and product. The owners are hands on and provide personal experience. The only draw back are prices here tend to tilt to the high side on certain products. Pay them a visit and listen to health talk on the radio on 830 am hosted by the owners. I am a fan…

This store has recently expanded into the former Rag Shop space and is one of only two health food stores in the county that I know of.(Correction: there is a Seventh Day Adventist store near Hamburg also, thanks AW.) I was hoping they would add a tea café with some relaxing space, but there probably is not that much extra room. I have always found the owners friendly and find many new foods I am seeking first here, such as Daiya cheese and coconut creamer. Small independent brick-and-mortar stores can barely compete with the chains, so I can accept prices that are not rock bottom since I have cut down my consumption of other stuff. They give out good coupons for your points card and also for your birthday. They now carry vegan desserts from Good Eatz, and I used to come here years ago for their little salads and sandwiches when I worked nearby. If Uggs or Birkenstocks are your thing, you will find a good supply here. Their bulk section has things you can’t get at Giant, and there is good fair trade coffee. Good selection of vitamins, toiletries, and makeup too, and I appreciate the expanded frozen section. I am sad to see meat in a health food store, but I guess you have to do that to stay in business. Any time I have asked for help, they always had an answer and are very knowledgeable about what they stock.

A wicked-expensive health food store that sadly contributes to Berks County’s incessant array of advertising on huge billboards that desecrate any tiny pinch of unpolluted landscape we have left here. Seriously, if your local organic foods market won’t take the higher road, who will?

Nice selection of natural foods and supplements as well as some clothes like UGG’s and Smartwool. Friendly and helpful staff not too mention a nice shopping environment. The items in the store seem needlessly expensive so I do not shop there too often.
