Legends Bar

Oh Legends. Good ol’ Legends.
I have a love/​hate relationship with this bar.
When Forest Gump said «…is like a box of chocolate, you never know what ya gonna get!» he was talking about Legends.
I don’t really believe the people who say that they LOVE this bar and ALWAYS have a great time. I’ve been here on numerous occasions; each and every experience has been different. Some nights were amazing. I left out with my girlfriends on cloud 9; other times I’ve invited a new person out and by the end of the night I’ve had to apologize for their piss poor experience. Legends is NEVER consistent.
I know most of the bartenders and the bouncers so I personally have no problem there. I’m giving it a 3 out of 5 because:
1) the drinks are good
2) they do play a good variety of music
3) if nothing else, it’s good for sh*ts & giggles.

Empty on a Saturday night. When someone asked if there would be a DJ, response was, «Yea he’s here. Just give him a minute.» It was already 10:30pm. Also was told «No coats.» And there’s «No coat check. Leave in your car.» What if we took a cab there? Ended up not even going in.

This place is my favorite bar in Reading, Let me begging by saying that the MUSIC ROCKS my WORLD!:) Maybe is the fact that im into the type of music they play, but I love it! And I can always dance to it all. NOT many of the people I know love this Bar as much as I do, honestly I don’t know what’s wrong with them!!! But anyway, for Beer I don’t buy it, so I wouldn’t know if its cheap or not, but I hate beer. I usually have mixed drinks, and the people are all friendly, most people like to Dance as if nobody is watching, I love the freedom. There is this guy that walks around picking up bottles, he is very friendly, and always in a good mood!!! Yeah, Is usually a little crowded, but I love this place, :)

oh Legends, I love this place. My go to bar in berks for great drinks Alex, Brain and Jeff are amazing. Love all of them. Always greeted with a handshake and by name. Cant ask for anything more.

This bar needs to get a new scanning system. I am 22 years old and they insisted that I was trying to use a fake ID and would not let me into the bar. I told them that they could call the police of they really thought my ID was fake and have them check. They still refuse to let me in. Then, after I had to drive all the way back home to get my PASSPORT to prove that I was actually 22, they let me in and didn’t even apologize to me for the inconvenience. They tried to blame me and tell me I had something wrong with my ID but I have never had issues with scanning it at the liquor store, beer store or other bars.

I have been going here for a while when I lived back home. It was always fun and had a good time. The Bartenders are funny. If you want to see every douche bag you went to high school with then this is the place to be. If you don’t want to see all the people you didn’t like in high school then go some where else. Its always packed on a Friday and Saturday Night sometimes there was a line. They have 1 pool table and and some video games. Check out Cranberry N’s Review its funny blunt and to the point it sums up everything about the bar and the town.

It’s a sports bar attached to a hotel (America’s Best Value Inn). The bouncer and bartenders seemed nice. Since it was Thursday night there weren’t too many people there.
They have multiple dart boards as well as a pool table and the walls are lined with flat screen tvs showing sports games or music videos. They also had a jukebox available for music selection.
It seemed like a pretty decent place, but since there was nothing going on, we all left after we drank our beers. I’ve heard it gets busy on the weekend, so I’ll update when I check it out!
