I prefer mom & pop stores to big box stores. This BEST BUY location wins me over with very good service and price points in many cases are below others.
If your in the market for a cell phone they will transfer content at time of purchase. Best Buy can only set themselves apart by going above and beyond with service and this location consistently does just that.

Went with my mom to get a new gas dryer, they had an okay selection to choose from. The girl who helped us was friendly and she definitely knew what she was talking about. Had a detailed answer for all our questions. The whole process from finding a dryer and setting up delivery and paying took about 20 minutes. We were basically in and out. She didn’t cling or hang over our shoulder like most sales people. She didn’t try to nag us to buy something more fancy or expensive. I would recommend Best Buy to anyone.

Today I dropped off my laptop for repairs.
Thank god for the parts warranty I purchased (knowing full well how rough I am on my electronics).
The girl at the repairs counter consulted with me to figure out the issue, gave me two options to pursue (both free), looked up my info on the computer, stickered my computer and charger and sent me on my way. All in about 10 minutes.
I’ll update when I get my computer back (in approximately 3 weeks!).

One way to judge a business is watch how they handle customer complaints. This organization doesn’t. The only thing I will buy from this outfit is a prepackaged CD or DVD on SALE. Otherwise I take my money elsewhere. Oh wait, others do price match so I take their ad elsewhere and don’t shop here.
I have seen poor people reduced to tears by their customer service dept. Total ripoffs and their geek squad couldn’t fix a loose nut on a brand new bolt without stripping the threads.
I choose to mark the store as pricey because there are better deals elsewhere on the net. Circuit City will do a price match w/​10% of the difference being credited back to you.
Shop Elsewhere, you have been warned.
