Looks just like my hometown barnes and noble! It was very clean and welcoming. I love the smell of books and coffee when walking in. We stopped in just to get some coffee for the road from the starbucks in here. Solid service and good coffee.

One of the last of it’s kind, this place has the best bargain new books than online! Not to mention there were more variety of audio books than other Barnes & Noble locations I have been too! What a great place to read and has air conditioner!

I enjoy visiting Barnes and Noble, and I’m glad our area has one. It’s my oasis. The café is very good but a bit pricey, so it’s usually a treat to sit and enjoy things there. They sell unique gifts as well as books. I’ve purchased many of both. The staff is always polite and helpful.

A coworker and I called ahead for a movie — The Illusionist. They said they had it in DVD, Blu-ray, and a combo pack. They saved it for us. ^_^ The price was pretty good. About $ 8 or so for the combo pack. The store is like a normal B&N, filled to the brim with DIY books, religious texts, recipe books, comics, etc. I drifted over to Starbucks while my coworker looked around for«— for Dummies» books and ordered a venti iced green tea latte with no ice and it was made perfectly. There wasn’t a tip jar around, though??? I was a bit miffed because I was standing around for a few minutes at the music station and Starbucks before someone noticed me(but reeeeally at Starbucks because the girl working the counter had her back turned doing something and the guy cleaning tables). I got over it soon enough, though. Fact: No in-store Starbucks accept Starbucks cards. There is not a single Barnes & Noble Starbucks that does, so don’t get your hopes up.

Kudos to B&N for years ago perfecting the chain experience where you could walk into this location in Reading or a location in Sheboygan and not be able to tell the difference. That kind of homogenization is great for some things: 1. This store is very clean 2. Have a large array of magazines and newspapers 3. They have decently long hours But it also leads to the same drawbacks that make B&N not so good: 1. Badly overpriced Starbucks and other Sysco-esque food drek. 2. The constant push from the register staff to sign up for their Dork Club. 3. The randomness to how this location will never have some fairly new titles in stock but yet a location twenty miles away will have ten copies of that book. B&N is still alright because I’m one of those old farts that likes to hold paper when I read a book and the idea of a Nook to me is pretty stupid. But that said, eventually I’ll give in and get one and when I do it’ll probably be here at this B&N. (Assuming that Amazon hasn’t pushed them out of business before then.)

I like that they have a Starbucks — don’t like that I can’t use my Starbucks card there. I don’t like that they always try to sell that darn member card to me. I buy like one book a year, people; I do not need to pay you for me to maybe save money. That being said…(I actually hate that phrase), it is a nice store with plenty of room. The clearance section is always something I like to check out for the odd/unknown treasures.

Pretty clean, but a standard Barnes & Noble. They have a fairly large selection of magazines, so if you’re looking for a more obscure magazine they may have it here. The café is a Starbucks, if you’re into that kind of thing. Compared to other Barnes & Noble stores I’ve been to its well organized(even the Children’s Area).
