Doughboys Donuts

One of my co-​workers routinely brings a box from Doughboys. You’d better get in early if you want one! This is the best blueberry doughnut I’ve ever had. Whatever problems they had in the past have obviously been worked out.
Now for a red velvet…

Most excellent donuts! You want your donut filled? Numerous choices for fillings. The best service & very friendly! Also they serve breakfast sandwiches. Haven’t tried any of them yet. The donuts are devine. Why mess with perfection? Lol. The owners are the best!!! Very friendly & on your first visit they give you a free donut! What beats that? I buy donuts here for special days at work. My ladies just love them! Definitely a must if you are in the area, or if you want some fantastic donuts. Love, love, love!

So… I am not sure who the folks are that wrote reviews back in 2011 but I had a pleasant experience at Doughboys Donuts. I stopped by to pick up donuts for the office and got great service and a free donut because it was my first time there. The place is small, a few booths and the counter. The booths were peppered with cute little old guys drinking coffee, talking and staring at all the people who came and went. This place is a gem if you ask me and my one dozen donuts lasted all of half an hour as opposed to the fare from the well known national chain, most of which have to be dumped at the end of the day.
I applaud these owners and their delightful staff. It is hard to keep a business going and it looks to me like they have overcome the issues they had in ’11.
Try the red velvet and the apple spice but they all look divine.
If you are in the area, check it out but for me it is worth a drive to get the goods at this establishment! Service with a very friendly, hometown smile.

They are no longer a deli, though they do serve breakfast on the weekends. These are the very best donuts I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my fair share. Several Saturdays in a row they’ve started to run out of donuts faster than expected. The owners are wonderful people, and we feel like we’ve known them for years. The weekend cook has even named a breakfast plate after our daughter, much to her delight. If I could move in, I would, but I’ll have to settle with visiting as often as possible!

The owners had some kind of huge fight. Most of the equipment is in an empty building across the parking lot. They only serve doughnuts now.

I went there after it had been open for a few weeks, one of the owners isn’t nice or friendly, no smile no hello. I’m sorry but if you have a new location and you want people to come back you should at the very least be nice to your patrons. I asked about the Philly Cheeseteaksbecause I am originally from Philly and he said. «Eh well it is what it is» Ummm. ok nice way to sell your sandwhich buddy!!! I sure want to buy it now! And I noticed a lot of cooking in a microwave. that is just disgusting. So yeah rude, the food was so so .The best item I got was their potato salad and their wheat bread was good. But I am not going back.

We ordered a philly and a meatball sub. Both were microwaved and terrible. Who microwaves a philly? The bread wasn’t toasted, so it was soggy by the time we ate. The only positive was the friendly staff.
