Stop & Shop Supermarket

Very slow service here. They focus on self service registers instead of full service registers. I prefer to have someone tally my order up, not a fan of self service. The store always appears disheveled when I shop. Decent selection of grocery items, meat, and seafood. The produce department could use some improvement. The quality could be better. It’s close to my work so it’s convenient for me to stop in.

I love the florists at this Stop and Shop. They always have beautiful flowers for great prices, better than a florist shop elsewhere here. I go there all the time to get my baby flowers or whoever else i need to get them for. Service is awesome and love the fact that they do some of the arrangements from

Showed up to the store at 8:50 on 12÷26÷11 and the doors were locked (on both sides). However it said they were open until 9pm, so another customer and I walked in the out door (we could see people inside shopping). Immediately, a cubby cashier ran over and said, «we’re closing in 3 minutes, 3minutes». I grabbed the strawberries I went to get and hopped in line. People were in front of and behind me in line. They were all very unprofessional and rattled on about personal things. Including the previous customer’s supposed bad attitude, well had they taken 5 secs to think about it, maybe they would have realized that her bad attitude came form their lack of professionalism, poor service, locking the doors early and rushing everyone out.
Needless to say, I’ll be shopping at the shaw’s down the street from now on!
