Dear Good Life, You help make our life on Sebago Lake extra awesome. You provide tasty breakfast sandwiches, yummy wine and cheese, and herbal pop and other great snacks. You are a must-stop on our way to the cabin. We love all the specialty items you stock and your great deli counter. A few points of feedback that would easily take you to 5 stars: * a more inventive veggie lunch sandwich(or just keep making breakfast sandwiches all day. I literally can’t get enough of them, and am so sad when I get to the store after 11 am) * sometimes the espresso drinks taste a little burned *when you are really busy, sometimes the ordering/payment process gets a little hectic and confused and your normally pleasant staff can be a bit rude. Love you, love your work. Regina

What a great find! The Good Life is a great spot to grab a sandwich or the fresh ingredients for a nice dinner, including the wine! If you want to get away from all the fast food on Route 302 and actually get fresh well prepared food you should stop in. It can get crowded during the Summer.

The best deli sandwiches I’ve ever had! We go here almost every weekend in the summertime and either eat at a picnic table or order to go. We usually order the Summer In Italy and the Good Life Club. They are always extremely fresh and flavorful. The garlic mayo is amazing. You can customize the sandwiches too which is nice. I definitely recommend this place — everything is delicious!

Love this place! Good sandwiches, summer in Italy is my favorite. They also have. Good selection of tea that I would usually have to drive to whole foods for.

Two stars for the products in the store. After that it drops off quick. After 20 disappointing visits — I am finished with this store. The service is horrible. They are soooo lucky they are the only game in town. You will always wait nearly 30 minutes for a sandwich guaranteed. With no one else in line it will take literally over 20 minutes to make a cold sandwich. The surface is excruciatingly S L O W. Please someone come to Raymond or Windham with a natural market and you will kill it. I swear. There is no competition here.

Went here looking for The Cookie Dough Café’s Edible Cookie Dough. Found it. Plus ordered ‘The Good Life Club’. Such a yummy and fresh sandwich! Wish I lived closer. Can’t wait to get back there and try something else off their great menu. Fabulous market to shop at! Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Great little place with a ton of stuff inside. Great prepared foods and beverage selection. Hi quality foods. Natural and organic is plentiful. Great wine selection. Only critique is that they havnt I proved their craft beer selection in a few years. It does the job though in a pinch.

I am always inspired by their sandwiches, soups and interesting things that this wonderful place offers. I have had the pleasure of enjoying their sandwiches many times. The staff is very prompt, the order is correct and the food is fresh! I could get lost looking at the wines and items in the back room. The wine tasting was fantastic with interesting pairings. Definitely worth the trip!

The Good Life Market is a high end deli, grocery and wine shop. Their foods err on the interesting and even exotic — especially for central Maine. Pretty good selection of wines too. My folks live nearby and make this a regular top up shop in addition to their regular wine purchasing. They also do take away casseroles and the like which are very good. Highly recommended.

No. We ordered a barbecue tofu sandwich(barbe-fu Rachel), and waited over 15 minutes. We drive 10 mins to the beach, and see that they have chicken on them… come on. I called to let them know of their mistake, and there was no apology… and not even any standard offer of what they could do to make it better… really? So I told them we would be by to return them. When we go back to the café that evening with the two sandwiches I told the girl behind the counter the situation, and she just stares at me, and there’s still no apology… She brings another girl over and told her about it and they both looked at me with no apology, seriously? So this guy appears and tells me my options, I just wanted a refund, still no apology — this biz is lucky they are on a main strip in Raymond, where there aren’t other options for local and organic food — because this shit turns people away for good when there are ample options around them. Only when he was swiping my card for the refund did he say, «sorry about that…» Ugh. Thank you for finally showing some semblance of ownership over the mistake, but it was pitiful. Awful customer service… won’t be going back.

What an awesome little upscale, local market. We stopped in while in the area in search of Swift River coffee beans. If you’ve never had this coffee, I suggest you try it. It’s a really good local roaster. In addition to loads of coffee, we were treated to quality food selections. Wine, beer, cheese, meats, breads, groceries, prepared foods and a food counter. If I lived in the area I would be a regular for sure. Definitely worth a stop.

This coffee is so amazingly delicious. I love how Goodlife switches out the different kinds of swift river coffees they sell, I like to try them all but this is my favorite an its locally roasted:)

Good quality food. Wish some of there specials where on daily. It’s a disappointment when you are craving a sandwich on a Tuesday and can’t have it until a Saturday. Busy place and priced high. Will not visit often due to that

Stopped by to pick up lunch for my hubby and I today. I ordered the Godmother panini and got a roast beef panini with cheddar and onions for my husband. His was on multigrain bread and the godmother was on delicious focaccia bread. The godmother was delicious crisp shrimp with artichokes spinach and melted cheese with a garlic mayo… Let’s just say, wow, delicious… My husband enjoyed the roast beef saying it was piled on there and moist and had great flavor. The place was super packed at 2 pm on a Thursday… I’ll definitely be back to try more!

Simply an excellent place to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Their breakfast sandwich is versatile, so tasty and very well priced(under $ 5), and their coffee options are great. When I come here for a sandwich I usually buy a prepared food item(or three) from the deli, such as Chicken Pie, Beetroot Salad, Mac ‘n’ Cheese, etc, which is always delicious. If it’s a lunch sandwich I’m after, it’s a «choices, choices, choices» decision between The Godmother(see picture of Shrimp panini — heavenly), Horsin’ Around, or the Classic Reuben. They pile the ingredients into their sandwiches and you can taste each and every one perfectly! The cold sandwiches are just as good as the hot ones, too. The grocery store provides a convenient means to accessing local and organic foods, without the trip to Portland, even boasting a broad and unique selection of top-shelf Scotches, whiskeys, cigars, fine wines, beer and liquor. Everything in this store is well worth the visit and staff are friendly and polite — the only reason I leave this review with 1 star shy of 5 is due to the customer service of one individual. She may be the owner, or tenured staff member as she’s always there, but has little personality and seemingly afraid to crack a smile at customers. This shouldn’t overshadow the quality of The Good Life Market, though, because they’re a real-deal local business that must be checked out!

I love this place. It has food for those with dietary restrictions — dairy free, gluten free, etc. They have wine, beer, and lots of specialty cheese, meats. This is the only place in the area to get specialty foods. Best sandwiches this side of Portland. The coffee is good. Whatever you do, don’t leave without Big Sky Granola. Holy cow is it tasty. They’re very friendly and they have great outdoor seating.

This was a delightful lunch-to-go stop on our New England road trip. I can definitely recommend the lob-«star» sandwich; with hefty lobster chunks, fresh sliced mozzarella, pine nuts and basil, it’s the epicurean’s answer to the ubiquitous lobster roll. We also picked up some sweet, local strawberries — they were just too tempting!
