Penn’s Catering is also a restaurant. After a nice drive on the Natchez Trace trail and a tour of the Raymond Battlefield, we were starving. As with any road trip, you take what you get and we had the choice of Sonic, Hardee’s, and Penn’s so you know what we were thinking. We chose Penn’s as we had not been in one before.
Whoa, what a surprise. I had a popcorn shrimp salad and the husband had the blackened catfish combo, we split the fried dill pickles. The whole meal was perfect, the batter was so crispy and clean tasting. This was a pleasant surprise for a quick lunch. We highly recommend Penn’s Seafood.
