This used to be a great place to launch Your Cross Country Skiing Career. There used to be concessionaires who used to rent out Cross Country Skis to those who wished to try the sport on for size without making the investment in equipment.
Gone is the pro shop, gone is the snack bar and the bar. Believe it or not Niagara County had a park where You could rent Alpine Skis and find out if it was for You. The fastest tobaggen runs in North America and a big fire going in the warming house.
