Staples the Office Superstore

Never have I had a more aggressive clerk. A middle aged, balding man who asked if I have their rewards card. I said «no, I’m not interested at this time» to which he said «that’s ok, here fill this out. I’ll even give you a pen» and proceeded to push the application in front of me. I was flabbergasted and shocked at his arrogance and asked him «what do you receive when people fill these out. must be something big» to which he replied «yeah, I get to keep my job»…very weird. There was no benefit offered as to why i sould have it, no info. just «here do it»…in hindsight I shouldn’t have filled it out but I was in a rush, didn’t want to argue and he shocked me into doing it with his pushy attitude. If this is how the store is run and the company forces the employees to get ppl signed up without training them on customer service etiquette or at the very least effectively explaining the benefits .then I will shop elsewhere. The whole experience was really off putting.

Great selection of office stuff. I purchased a computer for a gift and the process was pretty painless. The store itself was nice and organized and the staff was willing to help. I was slightly disappointed with the restroom the day I stopped by since it looked like someone blew up all over the toilet and paper was all over the floor.
