Absolutely the best Thai I have had. This is a small family-run business, the owners and their children run it wonderfully. The food is fresh it’s well presented and always exceptional, plus the service is friendly. It’s small it’s out of the way, it’s not commercial it’s just what I like for a quiet night out. I actually hesitate to write this review because it’s probably the best kept secret in Randolph, but I just can’t keep a good thing quiet.

Went there on a Tuesday night at 8:45. Doors locked, store dark, no sign on door with hours. The hours listed here on Unilocal say they’re open until 9:30. Their web site has a space for hours, but it’s blank.

Very tasty food. The place is small and is usually empty on weeknights. We come here for Thai take out. The food is great, and you can ask your food to be more or less spicy. I definitely recommend the food, fresh and delicious.

My family and I got take out from here. The food was not so good. When I go out for Thai food I expect it to be spicy. The food was not spicy at all and lacked flavor. Tom yum soup lacked spice and was disappointing. Appetizer sampler was lackluster, satay was ordinary and the curry puff was not good. The pad Thai was bland.

Last night we visited Pearl of Siam for the first time and it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and the food was prepared with just the right amount of spices. My wife and I shared the fish cake appetizer and thought it was good. We each ordered one of the noodle entrees and shared them. They were superb! Be prepared if you order spicy, mine was medium and it was hot! We’re looking forward to going back again and being more daring with our selections. Would definitely recommend trying Pearl of Siam if you’re in Morris County and looking for Thai food!

My favorite Thai place ever. Whenever we come here we order the same dishes: chicken pad thai, curry fish, and fried rice. The food could not be any more delicious– perfect combinations of spice and flavor. Also the family who owns the restaurant is the sweetest!

This place is great with a few minor flaws. First off, the people who work there are fantastic. They are some of the nicest, most helpful people in the area. Very good service and GREAT attitudes. They could give lessons in service to others. The food is very good and special orders don’t seem to be a problem. The only issues with the food are with the satay and the peanut sauce. The peanut sauce seems watered down and the chicken satay portions are tiny. I’d rather get two at full size rather than four at half size. And the watery peanut sauce doesn’t help. BUT the taste of the satay is incredible. I’ve had it several times and it’s great, with the size issue noted. Prices are excellent and the noodles are the best around. All in all, this is a five star review if it weren’t for the watery sauce and the satay portioning. Other than that, these guys are top notch.

Best Thai in memory including so called gourmet Thai priced 2x higher. Extensive menu cooked to order. Spices complex rather than monochromatic, making every bit worthy of extra time. Everything cooked to perfection. First time went wit the basics: appetizer sampler, Pad Thai, and Thai Raam. Will be back very soon to get deeper into the menu, including a page of duck entrees.

We found Pearl of Siam several years ago and have been going there ever since. We had a great Thai place by our house in Cliffside Park but when it closed, the cuisine fell off the radar. When I saw their sign from the highway when I was taking some classes at County it rekindled the urge and we stopped in and were pleasantly surprised by the food, service and décor. Our favorite appetizers are curry puffs and chicken satay. The sweet and savory sauces make the dish. I always get the warm shrimp salad — it is called Yam Goom(sorry for the spelling). This is my favorite Thai dish and they do a fantastic job here with it. Their house special is Pearl Bar-b-que. I get it with chicken and ask for extra sauce. The chicken is tender, fresh and pounded thin. I love it and get it every time. My wife likes the chicken curry. Not TOO spicy and always served with fresh chicken, perfectly cooked. I’m hooked in the Thai ice tea and get a couple every time I go. Prices tend to be a little high but equal to the quality. Recommended.

Have only done take out, so I can’t speak to the service. The food was okay, but not great. A little bland. The pad thai didn’t have that certain something, nor did the drunken noodles. I don’t know if it’s because the vegetarian versions of these dishes are missing a key flavor ingredient or what, but the food did not hit the spot for any of us, or satisfy that Thai food craving. If we do go back and try a curry or something someday, and it’s awesome, I’ll be sure to update this.

Pearl of Siam is my favorite Thai restaurant, we have been going there for more than 15 years. Very clean, tasty family run place. More than that we are vegetarians and they make very clean Vegetarian dishes, without any taste of nay hint of egg or meat. I was told by the lady that they use separate utensils for cooking Veg, this has not been our experience in other restaurants. Even though we moved out of Randolph we go back to this restaurant. Food is spicy, so go for mild or medium.

I was delightfully surprised by this little«gem» of an eatery yesterday at lunch. Normally, I’m not a big fan of Thai food, but decided to try Pearl based on a colleague’s recommendation and proximity to my office. In less than 5 minutes, I was courteously seated, given a menu, and had my order taken. Being a vegetarian, I was glad to see that most of their lunchtime dishes are available with vegetables. I opted for the Pad Thai with vegetables(I chose the mild spice which was sufficiently zingy for me!), spring rolls on the side, and a Thai iced tea. My lunch was served quickly, which was a concern of mine since my last lunch out at another area restaurant almost made me late back to my office due to slow service. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire lunch with its fresh and tasty ingredients and lovely presentation. I would have enjoyed a slightly larger portion of the spring rolls, but being a side included with the entrée, I really can’t complain. The staff here obviously takes abundant pride in their work. The price is quite reasonable for the quality of the meal– the above order come to just about $ 10. If you are in the Randolph area and looking for something different at a reasonable cost, stop here. You just might be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

We really love this place. Have been coming here for years. Prices are very reasonable! The food is excellent and tasty. You’ll always go home with left overs. Staff is great and friendly. BYOB makes it all the more affordable. Liquor store next store makes it very convenient.

My wife and I have been eating here about once a month for the past 5 years. We’ve never had a dish we didn’t like! I usually get the pad Thai which is great. Also have tried a couple of the curry dishes which were fantastic. The spicy fish cakes and pearl salad are wonderful as well. We’ve become very friendly with the owners and their family who work there, all wonderful people. We’ve tried several Thai places in the morristown area, and this is our favorite. Both because of their good food and inviting atmosphere. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I am surprised by the reviews. Went here or lunch the other day and was totally underwhelmed by the lunch. The food was fresh, but lacked flavor.

Good service, friendly and above average Thai. Crispy Duck Salad is excellent, as are the curry dishes and Pad(noodle) selections.

Amazing!!! You need to visit this place if you like Thai food. I’ve never been to Thailand but I’ve been to enough places to judge. This place had great food and even better service. We visited on Saturday night. There was a steady stream of customers. There was an older lady and I believe her son greeting and taking orders. The young guy was amazing and very attentive. This place will definitely be a place we visit again and again. We ordered the curry puffs, drunken noodles, chicken with cashews. The portions were very good and the food hit the mark. They even ask you how spicy you would like the food prepared. In my mind that was a sign that they are not just going to the back to warm up something already cooked. We had sticky rice and the coconut custard for dessert. I think this place is a little slice of heaven.

Was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was better than expected. The flavor was definitely there. although the meal was somewhat too mildly spiced for my tastes. But I suppose that’s to be expected at a place more suited to the average American palate. A dimly lit décor attempting to look classy but not quite pulling it off. But it was clean and the staff was friendly enough.

Went here with a group of people on a friday night. Wasn’t to busy and the food was good enough for me to take my mother back for lunch. I really like that when you ask to get your food really spicy, it is actually really spicy.
