We were referred to ALPS by a wedding coordinator during our interviewing process, who had nothing but great things to say as she used them for her own wedding as well. We were in a less traditional situation where my wife, then fiancé, was tied up with her studies at an out of state college and had left me to handle the major groundwork for our wedding. It was very daunting at first, but after meeting with Alex for the first time, she completely understood where we were coming from and did whatever she could to make both my wife and I comfortable with the entire process. Since my wife was basically working on the wedding remotely, all she could do was send pictures via e-​mail of the look that she was going for. I was more focused on working on the theatrics and logistics side of the event including projected media, light cues, and floor plans. Alex was able to take all the requests we threw at her, and transform our wedding venue from an industrial, rough facility, to the amazing room we had for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. She was very understanding at the same time, treating us like actual people rather than just another job. She helped us stay within our budget, reducing the cost for us line item by line item where ever we could cut, and was total understanding of the financial situation, never trying to upsell us on anything. The rest of the staff was amazing on the day of as well, working very efficiently and always punctual. I’ll tell you, there were absolutely no surprises on our wedding day in regards to ALPS. Very professional and courteous. Whatever we discussed during planning was exactly what we got when the day came. Awesome to work with and highly recommended. These guys are the experts! Don’t pass up the chance to work with them.
