I never give 5 stars. This may be the first and last. So if you’ve seen my pic, I’m not exactly at a healthy weight. So I got this ski type machine, thinking that maybe that and the TV would motivate me to seriously start moving. Well, seriously it didn’t. Watching TV got boring too, especially the commercials! Earlier this year we lost an acquaintance to a fatal heart attack, and she was only 53! So in earnest now I’m trying to commit to a walking program. Sigh, I just can’t seem to get up early enough to GO OUTSIDE, lol, and there’s much too much to do at work to take a decent break at work. And when it gets colder, I won’t want to go outside.
I went bumming around on the ‘net one day, searching for virtual tours, and I found them! The categories I put this business in doesn’t exactly describe what they do. They make virtual walking tours of beautiful places all over the world, like Ireland, Egypt and many others. They also have jogging tours, and bike tours. Exactly the sort of thing peeps like me need!
Can it get any better? Yes it does! Right now they are offering a fantastic customer appreciation sale. Buy 3, get 1 free; 5 gets 2 free; 8 gets 3 free; 10 gets a whopping 5 free! It was nearly impossible for me to stick to just 5, lol. So that’s what I ordered, I got the 5 with 2 free deal.
Another cool feature of their website, each DVD is described completely with photos and clips. Each and every one of them! So you can’t go wrong knowing exactly what you’re getting for your money.
Want more? All of the DVDs have natural sounds recorded on site during the walk. Some, in addition to natural sounds have the option of an upbeat music track suitable for use with your exercise machine.
More? They use automated testing and verification on each and every DVD before it ships. You are practically guaranteed a defective free product.
Even more? Not only does your DVD of the walk/​jog/​bike that you want arrive as described, but each DVD contains extra shorter walks, clips and other goodies. Whew!
I’ve only viewed two of my purchases so far, but they so remind me of Europe when I was stationed there during the 80’s. I emailed them some suggestions for walking tours in Germany. They emailed me back and thanked me for giving them an idea of where to start!
One more plus, as if there isn’t any more good things I can say, I literally ordered my DVDs Thursday evening, and had them in my hands on Saturday!
Only caveat, they don’t take credit card over the phone, but you can print the order form and mail them the info, if you don’t want to use Pay-​Pal.
