Vanderlip Park

If you want to go to a park and have amazing views of the ocean, just go here. This is a very quiet and serene park and there are houses all around this park. It is not at all touristy, so you can just take a stroll or sit on one of the benches and take in the majestic views. We took some of our engagement pictures here and I am so glad that we did.
The views from this place are amazing. There is a trail going around and you can walk all the way to the other side where there is a pool. Amazing big mansions all around the place. You can definitely bring a picnic and spend the day there.

It’s small, it’s immaculately kept, it has a million dollar view and palm trees swaying in the ocean breeze… Its vanderflip park!

This is one of my favorite parks, I come here on Saturday mornings with my journal and write poems. So far Ive written over 1000 and I love taking pictures here, too. Great ocean view and beautiful palm trees.

The most beautiful oceanfront park you never heard of
Is only one-​half acre, but there is a lot to love
Benches…there are only three
Nothing else, not even a potty
Except for breathtaking, unobstructed views of the sea
I wondered how much better anything could ever be
Except for the surf, you won’t hear a sound
Multi-​million-​dollar mansions are all around
Come here for quiet & beauty & peace
You’ll feel calm, your stress will decrease
No traffic, no people, no cars on the street
Parking spaces, no problem… in LA, this is sweet

Head toward the ocean a few blocks, then you will
See what I mean. And you also should know
That the park was named after a man, who, long ago
Bought the entire PV Peninsula, in 1913
