Maybe their work is great, but the way their workers treat people was a little disturbing. Some Gaelic workers were on their lunch break at 3 brothers in Torrance/Harbor City and treated the employee there pretty bad. I felt bad, that I apologized for the way he spoke to the gentleman. Remember when your representing your company by driving their vehicle and wearing their work clothes, you are in the publics eye. Represent yourself better. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this pissed me off. Maybe I will remove it later, but for now it will stay.

Last year, we took out one of the main load bearing/shear walls holding up the second floor of our house to open the kitchen to the family room and dining room. We also renovated 3 bathrooms in the house. We used Charlie Clarke at Gaelic Construction. Charlie’s bid was very competitive and we were extremely satisfied with Charlie’s work. He was personally on the job every day. He called us at least once a day(often more) to let us know project status, etc. He fixed/changed any issues right away no questions asked. He finished the job in less time than promised. During the entire project, we always felt Charlie’s number one goal was to make sure we were totally satisfied with both the process and the end result. We could not be any happier with both the process and the end result. We would never think of using a contractor other than Charlie for a project.

I hired Gaelic Construction based off a reference from my realtor. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the outcome of my home. Charlie guided me through the entire process. He recommended a Structural Engineer and Architect to assist me with my home transformation. Charlie worked closely with the City Inspectors to ensure that we were on track. The outcome is a beautiful Mid-Century home. The extent of my work included the following: addition of new bathroom, addition of new room, addition of new bedroom, removal of multiple walls, relocation of existing gas lines, installation of cabinetry… the list goes on and on. Charlie was onsite daily(even though he had multiple ongoing jobs) and was ALWAYS available via phone. Rebecca in his office was very proficient with the billing. Charlie takes a lot of pride in his work and treats your home as his own. Sounds corny but it is true.

I didn’t get any work done by the people at Gaelic Construction yet, but I felt the need to leave a review just based on the customer service I received. I called asking for an estimate on a concrete job and Rebecca in the office went above and beyond to make sure I received the information I needed. She called me right back with a referral for someone who does do the work I needed. I haven’t seen such professionalism and enthusiasm in a long time.
