Yesterday, I had an emergency and went to the best dentist in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. I have been to many dentists in my lifetime. However, Dr. Garcia-​Torres provided the best care and expertise that I have ever experienced! She corrected problems that my previous dentists and oral surgeons missed. It was amazing! Thank you so much!

I have been a patient of Dr. Torres for about 3 years now. She is honestly the only dentist I want to see. She did so much work on my teeth and worked with my budget and insurance to be sure that I am not charged and ridiculous costs. She is very caring and personable. I recommend her to everyone that is looking for a dentist. She is truly a gem!

Dr. Torres is awesome! She has a very gentle touch and her prices are incredibly reasonable. My insurance changed recently to HMO so I haven’t seen her, but when I checked her cash prices, they’re even better than with my dental insurance at another office. Will be visiting soon! Highly recommend her.

Although I need to go in for my annual cleaning. I was looking for Dr. Torres’ number to give to a friend and I remembered I have not done a review on Dr. Torres and staff. Let me tell you I am really glad I found her.
I have had high anxiety going to any dentist office my whole life. I have no idea why, but I just do.
After having a traumatic experience cracking a tooth while eating a salad with rocks in it at the Omelet and Waffle House in San Pedro I needed a dentist fast. After never having a cavity in all of my 25 years of life I was now going to have a root canal and I was scared. Not only am I a cash patient but I am on a budget. After calling around I found Dr. Torres thankfully. Dr. Torres was so friendly and caring. She took her time and always made sure I was comfortable. Since that experience my husband and I have been going to see her and the staff for all our dental needs. I would refer any of my friends or family here with great confidence that they would take care of them completely.

This dental office is an all-​Filipina operation, and the lovely lilt of Tagalog can be overheard in intra-​office chatter. Dr. Torres was trained in the Philippines, but came soon after to practice in the US, where she has been some 20 years.
It is a full-​service office, and the clientele is mostly immigrants (don’t ask about papers) without dental insurance. Why is this? Because Dr. Torres is CHEAP as dentists go, and you can afford to pay the full price in cash.
If you were even thinking about going to Mexico for dental work, forget it – right here in San Pedro is a dentist who charges Tijuana prices.
While here prices continue to astound me, I see nothing «less» in this office than in the office of any other dentist in town — and I have tried many. She is truly a local treasure.
