Communication is a fail with these folks. No information on when the carpet has come in. «Early next week» is the constant response to just about any question. I think the selection is good and the prices reasonable but I’m not sure that makes up for the frustration of dealing with them. The installers were hard working but the management is awful. God help you if you have a problem – more delays and excuses. Customer service and attitude are awful. My best advice is to go somewhere else.

Dealing with Powers One has to have been the worst experience I’ve had with a store in a long time.
I put down a 50% down payment on a floor the last week of December and the floor wasn’t installed until mid-to-late February.
Every time I called to find out when the floor would be installed I was told by the owner, Gary Powers: NEXT WEEK. Each time I called him he said the same thing: NEXT WEEK. He repeated this more than 3TIMES.
On a very positive note the installers Beto and Vianey from CROCE HOME REMODELING did an excellent install! If I didn’t have to go through Powers One I would use them in a heartbeat!
P. S. I asked Powers One to send me a receipt showing paid in full and never received it. It’s par for the course!

What a great store, the selection is awesome, including what they have in-store ready to sell. Have been looking for particular type of vinyl flooring for quite awhile. All the home improvement stores have such large minimum orders, it made the project too expensive. Walked into Powers on a Sunday and there in the back they had the vinyl I had been looking for! I walked out 25 minutes later with all the vinyl I had been looking for for close to three months. No heavy sales pressure, they let you browse. Extensive selection of carpet and plank flooring as well. I’ll be back for carpet!

I probably should downgrade even further. When I placed order, I was told they would call the next day with expected delivery date. No call, I had to call them. When carpet came in, they did not call. I had to call them.
Bottom line… great selection, good to very good pricing, atrocious service. Is it worth it? You decide. For me, I won’t order from here again.
